  • te koniki są super

  • what a beautiful ranch. i wish i lived on a ranch with my filly & mare ):

  • in a year?! wow! but how do you know he'll be ok and not hurt?

  • He's doing fine. I've gotten updated from my family there, including photos. I think that it will make him strong and healthy to run out in a bunch the way horses are meant to be. True, he may get a few scratches here and there. Both my other horses were born and raised on that ranch, until I got them as long yearlings. They are both great horses, smart and sure footed.

  • you just let him free? forever?!

  • No, he is in a large pasture at my uncle's ranch. These are all domestic Spanish Mustangs of a long breeding program, 70+ years. I'll go back and get him in a year or so and work on his training more.

  • Vinnie had never been in anything larger than 5 or 6 acres before. He certainly enjoyed it!

The ranch was homesteaded in 1916 and they added on sections as other homesteaders moved on. It's over 3,000 acres. Many ranches are much larger than that. The large pasture he is in with the stallion/mare bands and the bachelors is 2,000 acres.

  • How many acres do they have, out at the Cayuse? It is amazing to see them running like that, coming from central NY where we just don't have that kind of open space. Farmland, sure, but not open range..

  • look at those markings! hes beautiful!

  • Thanks! He got those from his sire...
