i have a question to the intellectuals below? what languages these indus creed were speaking?

And if that is proved as history, then Indus Valley civilization might have included not only Harappa and Mohenjo daro, but may have been related to Persia (ancient Sumer) and Aryans (I guess India was also called by the name Ayuryana, a Sanskrit word used by Aryans) for thousands of years ago.

And yes, Max Mueller's theory may indeed be faulty. We know that what we studied as history in our text books was written by British and not Indians. According to our history and mythology, India goes back as old as the Sumerian civilization (almost 8000 years ago) if not earlier. Nowadays world renowned researchers and evidences such as Ram sethu and Dwaraka (dated almost 7000-9000 years BP) are increasingly supporting the theory that Indian mythology may not be mythology but actual history.

I am so proud to be an Indian. We have such a rich history than any of today's developed countries. We have trade connections with Rome, Sumer (Mesopotamia) and possibly Egypt, and Indian civilization was one of the oldest technically superior civilizations on earth. I somehow don't agree with the theory that Aryans destroyed our culture. According to modern research, there is no evidence found to support Aryan "invasion". It may just be that Aryans had a major influence on India.

Its not fair to comment on the historical accuracy of this masterpiece. Max mueller's theory is never accurate either, its only valid until some other historian project his alternative controversial theory. I believe chacha nehru's theory,,, Najeeb

The series is wonderfully made but factually incorrect using the completely wrong hypocritical aryan invasion theory of Max Mueller and by our selfish sychopantic marxist nehruvian historians. Shyam Benegal did a wonderful job of directing but alas on the discredited "Discovery of India" of Nehru
