I used it on the wheel of my Pete the other day. Takes a long time and I agree that it needs to spin faster. But I'm happy with it too, works great on the visor and fuel tanks.
I tried to polish the rims on my Peterbilt with the power ball, and it didn't work nearly as well. The mechanic in our shop said it was because the drill wasn't fast enough. Looks like it worked pretty well for you. I wound up paying the mechanic to polish 'em up with a high speed buff wheel on an angle grinder. 8 rims for $100.
I'm pretty impressed, Anna. I didn't know the powerball worked that well. I'm a creature of habit, using my wheel and clay bars, buy I may have to add the "ball" to my bag of tricks!
I know, I know - bars, balls, and bags - get your mind outta the gutter!
Yup...the toolbox was pretty dull too (I ought to be ashamed). I was ready to bust out the green, red, white bars, but I figured I'd try this first. I was very pleased. I'm going to try it on the Pete next week.

if you polish with a product called FLITZ, it leaves a film behind that will stop oxidation for 4-6 months and keep your shine..

internationalRLfan 2 years ago
Polish & cigar smoke taste pretty good, especially when ingested together.
AnnieOakley379 2 years ago

Nice job Annie! I use one of those balls on my stack sometimes. It's the only chrome thing on the truck. Evanescence sounds good in there also. =)

Thanks....Evanescence sounds MUCH better than my commentary that was originally in this clip. LOL.

Ya got some room on the side for some 2inch lights....Looks great, nice job!!

Naw, I don't want too many lights on my little girly pickup. (Actually, I'm lazy & that wiring that up would create more work for me.) ;o)

Nice and shiny, it seemed to work good I will have to try it on my tool box

interesting, that powerball seems like it would be good to use on rims if it fits in the curved recessed areas.
Poslishin aluminum is like smokin ah cigar, ya can lick yer lips an savor da flavor while doin both lol.
