It's what it is, but it's the exact same version as the Dreamcast version, which is the best version of the game. Also, just imagine how long it would take top do an HD remix graphically of everything in the game, we'd still be waiting for it. I say the only difference between what they gave us and what an HD Remix would be is the remixed graphics, and being dissapointed because of that is just being nitpicky. This game is everything it should be, completely untouched except for online play.

nah man. they would've had to re-draw all the sprites for 56 characters and all the special move effects. if you consider all the animation data as well, porting to HD would've been a major pain in the ass.

It's because the quality of the video is so bad. I couldn't tell the difference either, but when I played the demo on PS3, it offers the option to view the different filters and it makes a pretty noticeable and appreciated difference. You should definitely get the game though, the point is freaking MVC2 ONLINE!!! Who cares about enhanced graphics! :D

to me, crisp. But that's on my TV, I have a Sanyo 26" HD LCD TV. It varies from brand to brand, and also size makes a noticeable difference. It's just up to you when you test them out.

the only thing i don't like about this port is that Portraits that scroll when they do the supers.

It just looks like a image popping out of nowhere. Maybe if it was aligned all the way to the left or right of the screen?

I agree. SF4 is cool. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that there are so many people who pick ken and use the exact same tactic others use(jump kick + shouken), many of the bouts I had was boring because of it.

This game is the greatest 2D fighter ever made. The authenticity is still there and if you grab an up close pic you can tell the difference. Actually you have to watch this vid in HD to tell the difference.

Sucks, because though I play this game multiple times a week on my PS2, I am desperate for a HD version now that I know it will exist. Hate to support sony (love my 360 with arcade stick for Sf4) due to their bullshit lack of backwards compatability on new models so I wont be able to throw out my PS2. But with this and Infamous, I'll have to suck it up and get one.

The different filters are hardly noticeable. You can only pinpoint differences IF YOUR LOOKING FOR it.

I watched this video 2 times. The first time it looked almost identical. The second time i was looking at them closely to see if I can see anything. I watched both of them in HD fullscreen.

And Capcom doesn't have rights to Marvel characters anymore. all they can do is re-release old games. Activision has Wolverine, Sega has IronMan, etc

I agree, crisp is the best of both worlds. It looks great on my TV and retains a lot of sharpness but softens the pixels enough to not look dated. Although classic doesn't look bad either. I think the characters are smaller on screen to compensate for the move to HD. Otherwise they would be a giant pixellated mess. Also the backgrounds look great and didn't need to be filtered in any way.
