These song are exactly like haunting dreams from memories past ...Musically uplifting and melancholy ...Making you wish we lived in more innocent times .
lol this song doesn't sound like the smiths OR the cure. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE FUCKING COCTEAU TWINS!!!! The Smiths and The Cure aren't the only things that happened in music during the 80s UK era. Just because that's probably all you've been exposed to doesn't mean there aren't more bands out there that came from that era. I used to be like that but I started to pick up more along the way. Jack said he was influenced by 80s music from the UK...and there's a lot to that era.
I've been listening to this song for I don't know 20 or 30 times? mostly in the night time but please could someone be so kind to post the lyrics here? Thanks it's just this strange effect on me every time I hear it makes me think of her...
@carbeto1 Touch my face, wipe my cheek. Talk to her, go to sleep. Dream of nothing, wake up tired. Talk to no one, not today. I feel like drifting now. I’m going to drift into your eye. Touch my face, wipe my cheek. Talk to her, go to sleep. Dream of nothing, wake up tired. Talk to no one, not today. I feel like drifting now. I’m going to drift into your eye.

The insane amount of compression is part of the "eighties feel" I suppose? Their sound is atrocious.

All hail 80s revival music trends! This whole genre that is popular these days in indie rock is blowing my mind.

Prob because the opening riff sounds sad, but the other instrumentals and vocal make it happy, melancholic-like...

I don't know exactly why, but to me, the intro sounds likea song I heard on Parasite Eve 1. just the first little part though
