@iLOVENATURE2011 We agree, we wish we didn't have to exist but we do and we rescue these animals from bad situations and provide them with a permanent home in captivity, they cannot be released in to the wild, in fact 99.9% of all cats born in captivity will never see the wild :(

I love your videos. I think you guys do such an amazing job and I'm grateful for all your efforts in enhancing the quality of these animal's lives. I also love that you have segments in this video depicting aggressive behavior towards the cameraman/woman. What an excellent reminder that despite their beautiful, sometimes cute playful behavior, these are wild and dangerous animals which can cause serious harm without a moment's notice. How silly that some think these make suitable pets. Thank you

I love what big cat rescue is doing for these cats. I don't know why people think they can own these animals. I honestly did not know that Serval wasn't a domestic cat until I came across your site. I've watched so many youtube videos of people with their Seval's, they're very nice looking cats, but they deserve to be free. We wouldn't like it if the cats decided to lock us up and stare at us for hours, yet people put them in zoos and tiny cages in their backyard.

There's a portuguese lawyer, called Jónatas Machado (aka: perspectiva), who says that those felines are eating the pumpkins and that is evidence that they used to eat pumpkins and watermellons in the Eden Garden. I kid you not.

He insisted that they're eating the pumpkins and we can see felines doing it at the zoos all around the world (all we had to do is search for "Lion", "Tigre", "Zoo" and "Watermelon" ou "Pumpkin" for confirmation). LOL The guy is a joke but it's good to see how the members of the Big Cat Rescue itself would answer to that claim. Anyway he shared an excellent channel. :-)

@14crazycricket That was Freckles the liger, she had terrible teeth when we rescued her in 2008 and have since done root canal work on her teeth to take away the pain, she can still eat the regular diet as all the other cats :)

@LinkLuvur We read somewhere that pumpkins have a similar effect as catnip on cats, whether or not this is true, who knows, plus the cats like to prey on the pumpkins and have fun destroying them etc..!!

@FruittisMaris Hi, unfortunately we lost Storm the male bobcat unexpectedly due to a thickened heart wall :( Midnight and Rain are both doing very well however. We definitely hear what you're saying but these animals belong in the wild doing their thing for the ecosystem so we want them back out there if possible and we think they will be fine :)
