love your drawing! I love drawing i like drawing unicorn and pegasus. all my friend said that my drawing it the best in the class. One kid said that i should stop drawing because i was too good and was beating his drawing.LOL But i didn't stop i kept drawing but i never up load my pegasus drawing in you tube though. I must admit there were times when I thought the horse looked a little weird, but at the end it turned out pretty good. Charcoal smudges like crazy tho. Usually I just use a cheap pencil and smudge it out. It's easier for me because it's more controlled. Plus I tend to put the shadowing in the wrong place by accident, or make it too harsh, and since it's pencil I can always erase it. If you're good with the charcoal then that's great though.

I like it. I've tried drawing horses, body first, but they turned out like crap. Depending on the individual, a person should draw whatever part of the horse is easiest for them. I'm gonna try drawing heads first.

Oh my god, I wish I could draw like that, I can't do something like that right now. xD I've only drawn 2 horses ever, they weren't that great. . . But I mean, they didn't look stupid either. try drawin with a pen somtime, that may seem like bad advice but i usally draw better in pen cause i'm more determined to not mess up. but i draw in like every spere minuit i have, but thats cause i dont have a socil life, but anyway try starting small and working your way up.

Better advice would be to do the basic sketch in pencil and then go over it in pen of even sharpie. And even though I have a socil life, I'm always drawing. I do it to relax and get away from the world. I'm really shy and so that's how I express myself.

At the beginning of the sketch when you were first drawing the outline of the mane along the neck, I though you were drawing the more detailed parts of the horse like it's muscles. I couldn't stop thinking steroids until you drew the rest of the mane. Great job! I envy your talent! Ever try entering some of your work in a local art show?

yes people comment on my left hand, i dont even like using chalk but its all i had at the time and showed up better on video than pencil! i hate the stuff its like drawing with a stone and i get black chalk everywhere! but i find being left handed i find it easier to draw any animal pointing to the right!

thankyou for your great comments, ive always drawn horses since i was 5 years old, the best way is to go visit a real horse and study their heads just look at them for as long as you can!!i was lucky enough to have my own horse and would sit with him for hours just watching him, so you can even picture a horse head in your mind so you know what they are ment to look like, also i studdied other artist work such as george stubbs. good luck x
