im 24 and am about to take the MSF with the intention of getting a sv650 to ride on the street for a season then get a second hand race bike for track days and races. I was just wondering am I too old to be competitive on the amateur circuit? I know pro racing you need to start extremely young but I think it would be a nice goal for me to strive for to win big amateur races in the AMA.
@curtmastor Go for it, you're already at a disadvantage though. Most riders within AMA start young and small on 250cc's and below. You could (if you find racing to be your thing), try the amateur races and see how well you do. I wouldn't really strive for being a racer if you have never been on a bike before.
Is it just me, or is that front guy leaning crazy low on his first corner. Swear his face must be no more then a foot from the asphalt. Awesome riding. Cant wait to upgrage to an R6.
@Robbyb321 - Ever done a track day? Let's see you do a 1:26 at Laguna Seca. Go out on your R1 and mark my words, there will be a half dozen guys faster than you....riding R6's. Shut your mouth and ride.
The first time I rode Laguna Seca was 1994 on a "bone" stock 1991 FZR 600 Yamaha with hard crappy stock radial tires 110/7017 front and a fat 130/60/18 rear. This bike put out 64 rwhp and weighed more than the R1Steve Atlas is riding in another video. I was turning 1:40's, But I was also beating the late Dave Emde (former AMA Pro 250Gp Champion on a set up GSXR750 with sticky race tires. Josh would be pissed if I showed up on my bad ass 1991 FZR600 Ha! Ha! You gotta love You Tube! AFM#674
People are talking smack to Josh Herrin? That's hillarious. I've been watching Josh since he started with Graves. If you think you can beat him, you need to put down the crack pipe.
I'm 43, my best time at Seca is a 1:53:00 on a bone stock '07 CBR600RR. I'm going back on 9/22/10, I hope to break 1:50:00.
Dude I just moved to California and I'm so pumped about going to Laguna this summer on my 07 gsxr 600. But I've got a question for those who are avid track goers. I have never been on a track before and I have about 10 good months of riding experience. I have always wanted to go to a track but knowing there are going to be some really good riders out there, it's a little intimidating. So if you were to give a track day virgin some pointers what would it be? Thanks and ride safe!
@Chouteau1 - Hook-up with a track day outfit that offers instruction for your first time, it will do wonders for your track skills and confidence. Most offer A, B and C groups. A= Race Speed, B= Intermediate w/ track experience, C= Beginners, never been on a track. Have Fun, Be Safe!
You are all leaning too much! Herrin is good trust me he knows his stuff. I suggest half of you go back to track days and take some more lessons. It's not about the bike or the lowest lean angle. Watch Rossi, Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo all of those guys. THEY ARE LITERALLY FALLING OFF THERE BIKES and then they tuck it back in. In a left hand corner there left butt cheek is where their right butt cheek should be and the right arm is across the gas tank. GOOD JOB HERRIN! NICE RECORD!
everyone on this thread who is dissing the lean angle of the bike and how far his knee is out is a MORON. the purpose for knee down is to keep the bike upright and to give yourself another albeit small point of contact the more upright the bike the faster you can corner. The optimal contact patch on a motorcycle tire is 3/4 of the tires edge not the edge I work for Bridgestone. All of you who low side your bike because you think you should be sitting on your bike need to take another lesson!
No its not... the whole purpose of the knee, is not to be used as a "third wheel" as such, but as a judgement of lean angle.. you don't have to hang right off the bike to get the same effect. your totally right about tucking in though. everyone has there own opinions about right and wrong body positions i guess. but mine is that you should not have more than 2 3rds of one cheek off the seat. it works best for me anyway, but im only a club racer...
holy shit are you really Josh Herrin...If so you are badass and have a bright future in front of you. and +1 to jjjp0619...if that/this really is josh herrin he would smoke any of us with ease.
Man you guys really know how to talk trash! I was probably doing about 1:45's so that Adam could keep up! (no offence Adam) haha... putting leaning as far off as I could because that was the only way to keep it fun! Just to let you know! I have the 600 supersport lap record at Laguna at a 1:26.0 If you would like to challenge that go ahead! Thanks to all of my supporters! :)
1:26 is haulin the mail! ps im a motorcycle mechanic, and ill sweep around the pits or do whatever to get my foot in the door for a race team. Its pretty much my dream job lol
@joshherrin8 dude don't even pay attention to the haters. Its more than clear you an extremely capable rider. I never heard of you before this video, but now I will be following you as close as I can. Stay safe, and drag what you gotta drag
@GedMpBasS Well whoever it is (and it ain't Rossi) they aren't wearing his helmet or his boots.
The biggest giveaway of all though is that the motorcycle journalist behind is kinda keeping up. If that was Rossi he'd be in shot for about 20 seconds and that would be that.
fucking idiots, I swear everybody's ignorance on riding style is a joke. Uhhhh if he won an AMA race at Laguna against Roger hayden I believe more than a year ago, I don't give a shit how far out he sticks his damn knee. bench racing is easy huh guys!
The rider is Josh Herrin he won the AMA daytona supersport race today. That would make him one of the fastest riders (600cc) in the USA. Take note of great riding style and technique. Keep the fat side of the tire on the ground.
His leans are a joke. He's practically falling off of the bike to drag his knee. If you look at the BIKE's lean angle instead of the guy, its really not that impressive. Any monkey can drag his knee on the ground if his ass is completely off of his bike.
that is good though. I Read that its better for u to lean than the bike. safer for corner and the bike is more stable. You only lean the bike hard if u need to. Your lean is what makes the bike turn. So he is doing it correctly.
Then you forgot to read the second part. Your knee is an indicator of the lean angle. However it makes no sense to indicate lean angle which is not that big. You have to sit on the bike not off the bike and having correct possition you then can tell how much further you can lean. (ofc this depends on tires/surface and many more aspects). Knee down shown in this vid is useless.
yeah, you are right. But haveing your knee down like u said is a the lean angle indicator so to be safe and not lean the bike too much and fall....right?
yea, basically that's it. Ofcourse if you had bike like guys in gp do, then you could go far beyond 'standard' lean angle. Anyway, as I said, proper sitting position is required.
Search for 'Superbike school UK Knee to knee' video on youtube. It's explained there much better than I could ever do with words ;-)
You get off your seat to the inside of a turn to *reduce* the lean angle of a bike. (The center of gravity shifts towards the inside, which means you don't need to lean the bike as much.) The more upright the bike is, the sooner/harder you can throttle out of a turn.
Your knee goes out because there's no place else for it to go. Read Total Control, and try it yourself. (Assuming you ride.)
@cbrandom reducing the bikes lean angle is the whole reason for leaning off the bike, because you have more traction when your not on the very edge of the tire so you can pick up the throttle harder and go faster
um.... that guy in front is taking perfect lines. Always gotta late apex on bikes because of the massive acceleration and bad cornering compared to cars. If he would slam on the brakes later he would've been like 10 seconds a lap faster than you. I think he's doing it early so the camera behind can film him though.
F***ing sick riding. Haven't seen stuff that good for a long time.
it is? omg... wow. Thanks 4 telling me. That makes so much more sense! Isn't his riding amazing?! Bikes are so much different than cars. At the limit you have to defy all of your instincts & this guy does it like he's a kid playing on a swing-set! Freaking brilliant.
ha ha dude if u love bikes nearly as much as i do youll love riding anything even remotely sporty, and if u havent ridden anything bigger than a 250 yet, your in for a shock! 600s will scare the shit outa u!! but after a while u start wanting a bit more torque, ull never say a good 600 is slow but ull get a bit tired of having to rev its tits off to get it to scream! therefore an educated answer is that the 750 is the way to go! any bike is awsome just go for wot suits u best size and look wise!
damn..like i said over 6 months ago..this is Josh Herrin.. It says Lil BiT on the back of his leathers..and he has changed his number to 8 this year..
the guy in front IS NOT valentino rossi however it a pro unless someone climbed into josh herrins leathers.. instead of "the doctor" it says "lil bit". he changed his number to 8 this year i think... he races ama road racing and rides a factory yamaha r6 and he is only 19 yrs old. pretty good too i might add he was simply doing a medium speed lap he can lap laguna seca in 1:26 range im sure...
Yeah, getting your knee down is a third eye for judging lean angle but also the more you hang off the bike the more vertical the bike will be round the corner so you can keep more power on without the risk of highsiding
all u idiots are talking shit about him doing this and that wrong, when the dude races in motogp. #46 valentino rossi 7 or 8 time world champion... and u little idiots with 125cc bikes come on here tlakin how he isnt leaning properly. nigga plz... go clean the footrest on your scooter
watch any world superbike or motogp racer these days and you'll notice that they lean so far off the bike that their elbows will nearly scrape the ground. The bulk of the weight in the body is concentrated in the torso, so if you are just rotating your butt off the seat so you can drag knee and keeping your upper body high on the bike, you almost completely negate the advantages of dragging knee.
If you just lean in without body movement you would fall off due to the wheels not being able to go that far. Therefore, you use your bodyweight (as the guy in front shows) to pull the bike around the corner with less actual lean and therefore less chance of lowside. It also means that corners can be taken faster, although, the guy in the vid does seem very leant over, but thats how some people ride :)
The guy in front is hanging off the bike so much he is never actually getting the bike leant over and is not riding fast. Looks good but doesnt appear to be very effective.
Love the track, it looks beautiful and must have been fantastic riding it!
Dont get defensive, he has a nice smooth style but is leaning off the bike too much. I mean his head is nearly touching the ground and the bike isnt cranked over at all!
Its good to keep the bike upright when on the power but not at the expense of loosing cornering speed.
from what ive heard on the corners you dont lean the bike, your body leans like he is doing which will allow you to take the corners faster . But I am no expert, Im not getting defensive, I wanna know your opinion, it just confused me for a second, because the way I learned it his riding seems practically perfect (from what Ive learned), but correct me if m wrong.
Fair point, if he was going 10 seconds a lap faster then the way he was hanging off the bike would be awesome. Im a club racer so quick but not a pro and I know when my knee scrapes then I have a bit more lean to go but not much. I think thats the point of getting your knee down. :)
I think your a bit confused onto why knee dragging is used, along w/ your knee dragging your butt has to come off the seat in order to keep the bike as straight as possible while still turning, the knee is dropped so you dont have to drop the bike (your body leans so the bike doesn't have to), again this is what I have l learned, I could be the one who is confused. Your right though in the fact that he is going pretty slow while leaning a whole lot, i think he is practicing.
straight as possible but still leaning of course, next time u take a sharp corner don't, drop your leg just stay sitting on the bike and only lean the bike and see what happens next.
i agrre with fubaaar here.. the knee down is pretty much used as a way of judging your bike lean angle, IT IS NOT A THIRD WHEEL..... i was a club racer in the uk, but will be seeing some of you guys state side soon
the point of leaning your body is so you dont lean the bike as much and therefore the bike stays upright as much as possible, thus allowing you to take corners at greater speed thats the whole point. if you lean the bike the less speed youll be able to carry through.
shotya119, i seriously hope i dont see you on a track in the future......
if you lean yourself and not the bike, you will cause some serious crashes.
putting your Knee out/down is more a gauge of how far you are from the ground, its a way of judging your angle of lean, you can go around the same corner at the same speed withou putting your knee down and more than likely be faster,
I dont think I am confused fella, but you seem to think you can eradicate the need to lean the bike as much by hanging your body off more. I think you will find you may be able to carry slightly more corner speed by hanging off more due to the c of g being lowered but the bike will still have to lean over as much. Look at the pro's mid corner the handle bars are 2 inches above the tarmac. You can pick the bike up on the exit of a corner when on the power which helps with traction.
your not confused bud, although you do have off the bike, you DONT stay upright, you kind of slide down the side of the bike, so although your hanging off one side your keeping close to the bike, unlike the guy in the video, watch any top racers position, they do keep in close.
this guy was just trying to get his knee down in the corners, thats all. if he carried more speed and hit the corners right, he would easily have doen it without hanging off
he may be hanging off like a "spidermonkey", im sure hes faster then everyone commenting the video. Ride in whatever way that makes you feel comfortable. 2008, number 46... wit yamaha. just take a guess at who it is?
Yes, you need to have a racing licence in order to race in a sanctioned race (e.g. FIM sanctioned race). There are of course unsanctioned events, but then they are not likely to be properly organized and insured.
they might be applying more front brake while down shifting so the stopping force isnt all on one tire and its distributed on both tires..also there suspension set up might be more helpful in distrubuting weight and force
Ya but the slipper clutch helps out to a point i mean it is a stock bike. He said his locks up too and he has an 08. Slip-clutches were factory stock in 06 i believe or 05.
Even though the R6 has slipper clutch, it is not as good as a top of the line after market one. It is definitely better then not having one though.
Anyway, to get smooth braking on the R6, you still need to manipulate the clutch a bit. Otherwise it will take a split second or 2 before the slipper clutch disengages the rear wheel totally. That can be very disturbing when braking from 250kph...!!
josh actually leans like that alot if you watch him..he wasnt going waayyy slow the whole time..and was still leaning that much. he comes to my town weekly so maybe i can ask him about that anyways..but i know thats josh's style.
Josh is probably overleaning because he is going way slow. However, if you're a beginner it is not recommended to lean that far off the bike as you don't have as much control of the bike as if you're more on top of the bike. Look at the very fast boys, they are off the bike but very very few are that far off. They just lean the bike more. Less movement by rider means you are not upsetting the suspension as much as if you move around all the time.
Because, given that the only difference in body type (not fat/short against thin/tall or vice versa) is hight, then the shorter guy would weigh less then the taller guy. So the short guy would put less force on the tire (i.e. he can get away with not leaning off the bike so much). For the same reason, a small guy will be less likely to upset the bike from moving around, but a taller guy would have more leverage to move the bike how he want it.
Don't worry about knee dragging. First time I went to the track, I scraped my exhaust, but I was going dead slow.
Just practice braking hard but getting off the brakes smoothly when entering corners (carry the braking into corner), and then as smoothly/gradually fast as possible get on the throttle when exiting. Be analog rather then digital.
Also try to "pull" the bike through the corner (makes you lean on the inside of the bike) instead of pushing the bike down under you to make it turn.
Yawgmothmel - Josh races in AMA Supersport. You can easliy recognize him by his plate number 46, his leathers have a hint of "Rossi" flavor to them and he rides an R6, teammate to Bostrom. The kid is only like 16-17 and he is faster than sh*t!
You are a tard...that's Josh Herrin (he rides for Team Graves Yamaha), I'm sure your race sponsor wouldn't mind if you took a few pointers off him. gotpastwho??
wow u sound retarded, even if he he was a one track pony...he is fuckn 17. just to b in moto gp is an accomplishment second to only winning the championship. josh herrin would fuck off so nasty on a track u would probly go home and sell ur shit afterwards
Well lets see how Ben Spies and three-time AMA support class champ Jamie Hacking do against the Moto GP lads shall we. Oh and it one trick pony. As your such a mouth piece for Josh Herrin tell him to get over the pond and into BSB, he will learn proper race craft in that series.
The guy in front. Let me guess what he does for a job. I bet he's a bullshit bike journalist over doing hanging off the bike so he looks good in the magazine photo. Get real and hang off when its needed and you will go alot quicker. Or do you ride a bike just to look good in photos ?????.
..yea...that guy ur talking about..his name is josh herrin. hes like 18 years old and is a pro ama racer for yamaha. and he is also in the running to win the supersport championship..i think he knows what hes doing

yea, basically that's it.
YumeNK 2 years ago
Wrong. Knee has nothing to do with that.
(Assuming you ride.)
jerlbaum 2 years ago
yeah, i figures that out this whole month of riding with a bunch of guys that do track days. What is "total control."
dukviper90 2 years ago
@cbrandom reducing the bikes lean angle is the whole reason for leaning off the bike, because you have more traction when your not on the very edge of the tire so you can pick up the throttle harder and go faster
RobeyMc 1 year ago 5
um.... that guy in front is taking perfect lines. Always gotta late apex on bikes because of the massive acceleration and bad cornering compared to cars. If he would slam on the brakes later he would've been like 10 seconds a lap faster than you. I think he's doing it early so the camera behind can film him though.
F***ing sick riding. Haven't seen stuff that good for a long time.
lifeisgood070 2 years ago
"that guy" is valentino rossi ;)
blubbbla1987 2 years ago
it is? omg... wow. Thanks 4 telling me. That makes so much more sense! Isn't his riding amazing?! Bikes are so much different than cars. At the limit you have to defy all of your instincts & this guy does it like he's a kid playing on a swing-set! Freaking brilliant.
lifeisgood070 2 years ago
No.
That "guy" is actually teenaged AMA racer Josh Herrin. He has "Lil Bit" stitched on the leathers ala Valentino Rossi.

R6 OF COURSE

ha ha dude if u love bikes nearly as much as i do youll love riding anything even remotely sporty, and if u havent ridden anything bigger than a 250 yet, your in for a shock!

TheRibbonAce 2 years ago
the guy in front IS NOT valentino rossi however it a pro unless someone climbed into josh herrins leathers.. instead of "the doctor" it says "lil bit". he changed his number to 8 this year i think... he races ama road racing and rides a factory yamaha r6 and he is only 19 yrs old. pretty good too i might add he was simply doing a medium speed lap he can lap laguna seca in 1:26 range im sure...
motogpfan46rossi 2 years ago
Yeah, getting your knee down is a third eye for judging lean angle but also the more you hang off the bike the more vertical the bike will be round the corner so you can keep more power on without the risk of highsiding
jensoninterseptor 2 years ago
all u idiots are talking shit about him doing this and that wrong, when the dude races in motogp. #46 valentino rossi 7 or 8 time world champion... and u little idiots with 125cc bikes come on here tlakin how he isnt leaning properly. nigga plz... go clean the footrest on your scooter
begafl 2 years ago
Guy in front is not Rossi, its just someone with similar lettering on the rear.
kneedownskaggs 2 years ago
watch any world superbike or motogp racer these days and you'll notice that they lean so far off the bike that their elbows will nearly scrape the ground. The bulk of the weight in the body is concentrated in the torso, so if you are just rotating your butt off the seat so you can drag knee and keeping your upper body high on the bike, you almost completely negate the advantages of dragging knee.
shootemupy2k 2 years ago
If you just lean in without body movement you would fall off due to the wheels not being able to go that far. Therefore, you use your bodyweight (as the guy in front shows) to pull the bike around the corner with less actual lean and therefore less chance of lowside. It also means that corners can be taken faster, although, the guy in the vid does seem very leant over, but thats how some people ride :)
AeroxRider46 2 years ago
the guy in front, holy man ur exposing too much of ur body.. which equals in higher wind resistince = slower speed
rush2905 2 years ago 2
The guy in front is hanging off the bike so much he is never actually getting the bike leant over and is not riding fast. Looks good but doesnt appear to be very effective.
Love the track, it looks beautiful and must have been fantastic riding it!
fubaaar 2 years ago 3
what r u talking about he is doing it correctly
Greenthing12 2 years ago
Dont get defensive, he has a nice smooth style but is leaning off the bike too much. I mean his head is nearly touching the ground and the bike isnt cranked over at all!
Its good to keep the bike upright when on the power but not at the expense of loosing cornering speed.
fubaaar 2 years ago 4
from what ive heard on the corners you dont lean the bike, your body leans like he is doing which will allow you to take the corners faster . But I am no expert, Im not getting defensive, I wanna know your opinion, it just confused me for a second, because the way I learned it his riding seems practically perfect (from what Ive learned), but correct me if m wrong.
Greenthing12 2 years ago
Fair point, if he was going 10 seconds a lap faster then the way he was hanging off the bike would be awesome. Im a club racer so quick but not a pro and I know when my knee scrapes then I have a bit more lean to go but not much. I think thats the point of getting your knee down. :)
fubaaar 2 years ago 3
I think your a bit confused onto why knee dragging is used, along w/ your knee dragging your butt has to come off the seat in order to keep the bike as straight as possible while still turning, the knee is dropped so you dont have to drop the bike (your body leans so the bike doesn't have to), again this is what I have l learned, I could be the one who is confused. Your right though in the fact that he is going pretty slow while leaning a whole lot, i think he is practicing.
Greenthing12 2 years ago
If you keep your bike as straight as possible than your bike isn't gonna conrner and it'll continue to go straight.
samfisherman007 2 years ago
straight as possible but still leaning of course, next time u take a sharp corner don't, drop your leg just stay sitting on the bike and only lean the bike and see what happens next.
Greenthing12 2 years ago
i agrre with fubaaar here.. the knee down is pretty much used as a way of judging your bike lean angle, IT IS NOT A THIRD WHEEL..... i was a club racer in the uk, but will be seeing some of you guys state side soon
rubberswampdonkey 2 years ago
the point of leaning your body is so you dont lean the bike as much and therefore the bike stays upright as much as possible, thus allowing you to take corners at greater speed thats the whole point. if you lean the bike the less speed youll be able to carry through.
shotya119 2 years ago
shotya119, i seriously hope i dont see you on a track in the future......
if you lean yourself and not the bike, you will cause some serious crashes.
putting your Knee out/down is more a gauge of how far you are from the ground, its a way of judging your angle of lean, you can go around the same corner at the same speed withou putting your knee down and more than likely be faster,
rubberswampdonkey 2 years ago
No he isn't, you obviously don't ride.
samfisherman007 2 years ago
I dont think I am confused fella, but you seem to think you can eradicate the need to lean the bike as much by hanging your body off more. I think you will find you may be able to carry slightly more corner speed by hanging off more due to the c of g being lowered but the bike will still have to lean over as much. Look at the pro's mid corner the handle bars are 2 inches above the tarmac. You can pick the bike up on the exit of a corner when on the power which helps with traction.
fubaaar 2 years ago
your not confused bud, although you do have off the bike, you DONT stay upright, you kind of slide down the side of the bike, so although your hanging off one side your keeping close to the bike, unlike the guy in the video, watch any top racers position, they do keep in close.
this guy was just trying to get his knee down in the corners, thats all. if he carried more speed and hit the corners right, he would easily have doen it without hanging off

Yes, you need to have a racing licence in order to race in a sanctioned race (e.g. FIM sanctioned race). There are of course unsanctioned events, but then they are not likely to be properly organized and insured.

righthandboy 3 years ago
love to know how their back tire isnt wanting to lock up down shifting so fast at high rpm. My 08 wants to lock up the tire when i do that
Ryan40272 3 years ago
they might be applying more front brake while down shifting so the stopping force isnt all on one tire and its distributed on both tires..also there suspension set up might be more helpful in distrubuting weight and force
GTOlR1 3 years ago
plus the new R6 has a slipper clutch lol...
renegade1987 3 years ago
Bingo !! Slipper clutch..
fightchaser 3 years ago
Ya but the slipper clutch helps out to a point i mean it is a stock bike. He said his locks up too and he has an 08. Slip-clutches were factory stock in 06 i believe or 05.
GTOlR1 3 years ago
Even though the R6 has slipper clutch, it is not as good as a top of the line after market one. It is definitely better then not having one though.
Anyway, to get smooth braking on the R6, you still need to manipulate the clutch a bit. Otherwise it will take a split second or 2 before the slipper clutch disengages the rear wheel totally. That can be very disturbing when braking from 250kph...!!

man josh has some angle on him, cool dude!!!
mushboy88 3 years ago
josh actually leans like that alot if you watch him..he wasnt going waayyy slow the whole time..and was still leaning that much. he comes to my town weekly so maybe i can ask him about that anyways..but i know thats josh's style.
TheRibbonAce 3 years ago
Sweet first person view!
BigOmair 3 years ago 2
Josh is probably overleaning because he is going way slow. However, if you're a beginner it is not recommended to lean that far off the bike as you don't have as much control of the bike as if you're more on top of the bike. Look at the very fast boys, they are off the bike but very very few are that far off. They just lean the bike more. Less movement by rider means you are not upsetting the suspension as much as if you move around all the time.
Fightclubs 3 years ago
wouldnt u have to lean more if your shorter in height?
dbsshadow 3 years ago
Not always.
Fightclubs 3 years ago
oh ok thanks, cuz im like 5'6" and im practicing my sharp turns( havent been able to knee drag yet) and im was jus wondering if it made a difference
dbsshadow 3 years ago
Don't worry about knee dragging. First time I went to the track, I scraped my exhaust, but I was going dead slow.
Just practice braking hard but getting off the brakes smoothly when entering corners (carry the braking into corner), and then as smoothly/gradually fast as possible get on the throttle when exiting. Be analog rather then digital.
Also try to "pull" the bike through the corner (makes you lean on the inside of the bike) instead of pushing the bike down under you to make it turn.
Fightclubs 2 years ago
haha the guy in front of him is valentino, look closely at the uniform!

Yawgmothmel - Josh races in AMA Supersport. You can easliy recognize him by his plate number 46, his leathers have a hint of "Rossi" flavor to them and he rides an R6, teammate to Bostrom. The kid is only like 16-17 and he is faster than sh*t!
p053r46 3 years ago
Lets hope he makes it to the motoGP its time to see more competitive americans racing in the motoGP championship.

Great riding style for a photo shoot and thats about all, look at the angle he is sticking out leg just so he can get his knee down.........

bwhhahahahahaha.
You can start at turn 3 at Laguna, and Josh Herrin (the rider in front) can start at the Start/Finish line....and he'll pass you before the corkscrew.
Maybe you're just stirring the pot, but Josh Herrin is one fast kid. And he's still a teenager. Plus he won the AMA Supersport race
at THIS TRACK in September, 2007...beating out Hacking, RL Hayden, and Martin Cardenas...the top 3 riders in AMA Supersport.
Please know the facts before making ridiculous assumptions.
