  • That's actually Q194 Northbound Atlanta, GA - Charlotte, NC

  • Oops, mustve switched the numbers around, fixed now.

  • Nice Video ^^

  • hey! i was setup in the EXACT same spot in Bogart (and i mean almost exactly in your footprints!) last week to catch Q194 but at the last minute i decided to bolt into athens and i got there just in time to catch it going over the north oconee trestle. i like your shot MUCH better by the way. i will probably be out on the abbeville sub tomorrow trying out some new video equipment in the sunshine-hopefully.

  • Thanks Jamie, glad you like the video, was really hoping for a southbound so i could see him climb Bogart Hill(and lighting wouldve been better) After this i tried to chase him to Athens and got to Pulaski RIGHT as the lead engine went over the crossing.i wouldve caught him if i hadnt forgot my damn logbook & wasted 3 minutes driving back to get it, tried to catch again in Hull but all i saw was red signals and gave up at Colbert. Hope i can do some railfanning tommorow too since its spring break.

  • yep i know the feeling. after the shot at athens i decided to chase him again, actually passed him at hull and got setup for him at elberton. of course, then i realized i was 98 miles from home! usually i just miss em.

  • What time was this? If it came from/via Birmingham, it would have run past my house (I live about 2 miles from Shades Valley, where the Montgomery and Atlanta lines split).

  • nice horn and sound... bouncy .... tracks down on that hill there
