His real name has never been revealed, he was called the frank hunter because he was german and the way he killed. He just ended up useing that as his name, though it might be because he was never given a real name.

I loved his inclusion in Portable Ops, it gave him a strong standing going into the first two Metal Gear games than he recieved IN them, and is a good reminder of what he becomes in Metal Gear Solid.

I liked this theme, y'know how it's kinda like how he's getting saved by Big Boss, and stays loyal, and the end will die and save the world with Snake (destroying the radome), I dunno it just gives me this feeling.
