As an american living in France, I have to say both France and the US aren't so open as people believe, its true here in France, homosexuality is much more accepted that in the US and as a gay man the only way I could stay with my partner is to live in France, and being gay in the US I wouldn't ever what to do it again, but recently in France has changed some of my views about France for the worst, especially for gays and immigrants, France isnt so open as both americans and French make it out
@Chrisbit1 I wouldn't make a statement generalizing that the US is not open/accepting of gay marriage. There are some parts that are more accepting of gays than others. I am not sure where you previously lived in the US, but in Seattle, WA everyone here accepts the gays, and there are gays everywhere. I have so many gay and lesbian friends and at work they are open and don't feel threatened. I am sure more of the southern states like Kentucky and Alabama are far from LBGT accepting.
In comparison to other countries and not just europe but some places in south america and even our neighbor Canada as well, the US as a whole can be very conservative, you just have to look at the 2012 elections on the republican side to get an idee. The US is MUCH more behind the rest of the western world on gay rights

The advert should be about selling burgers, not about making a political statement or to influence onces opinion on homosexuality, given that the majority of the population find it hard to relate and/or accept this sexual preference. In a way this advert divides people even further because it is insinuating that gay people or any other minority may feel unwelcome in Mcdonalds without it.

The advert should be about selling burgers, not about making a political statement or to influence onces opinion on homosexuality, given that the majority of the population find it hard to relate and/or accept this sexual preference. In a way this advert divides people even further because it is insinuating that gay people or any other minority may feel unwelcome in Mcdonalds without it.

Santorum is notorious for being a strong social conservative, while Ron could be considered a strong fiscal conservative, although I find it's more accurate to call him a fiscal "Tea Partier" or just simply Libertarian, because he prescribes a smaller federal government and taxes.

The bible is a POLITICAL book, hardly to even do with religion. Every gospel in there was hand picked by Roman Emperor Constantine to suit his views. In the bible there are 4 gospels. In real life, there are 17. They didn't include all of them because they went against Constantine's views.
