Why not just be nice and let people do what they want to do? You can let a person be a gay but still have your own personal opinions. And if you are a gay person or gayness enthusiast, be respectful of different opinions. Not everyone thinks being gay is normal or right. Just deal with the differences and move on. Both sides of the argument need to stop trying to persuade others with force. Force doesn't work.

Why do we have to promote and prop up gayness and gay people? I agree that people shouldn't be picked because of their race, religion, appearance, gender, or sexual orientation. I have a problem with people forcing their views on others. If you want to think being gay is right, good for you but don't force that view on others. And if you think being gay is wrong, don't force that view on others.

@Davidsternsucks Yes, but we still live in a homophobic world, they're not trying to force it on anyone, they just want the same rights, like to marriage or to adopt kids without people thinking they're perverts. I do get your point, why can't people just let each other be and keep to their own business, but the fact is people can't let each other be and gay teens are more likely to commit suicide than other teens because of the bullying they receive.

Gay people can get married if they want to do so. I won't stop them but I'm not going to celebrate with them because I think marriage in general is a joke. And I will say "that's gay" if I find something to be lame or annoying. If anyone has a problem with that, tough titty.

@Davidsternsucks Ok, I can agree with you on that, marriage is lame, but why should it be up to straight, white men on who can marry and who shouldn't. The fact they can call marriage sacred and therefore shouldn't allow two men/women to marry is ridiculous. Thats is more sacred that men and women can marry 6 or 7 times and call that more sacred than two women marrying once and spending their lfe with each other is ridiculous.

What about people that bully people because of their race, religion, or appearance? No one seems to care about that. It's all "don't pick gay people" but it's okay to bash people if they're a Jew, Christian, Muslim, fat, or have a disability. Hypocritical.

None of it is good. They aren't saying that's okay or insulting other groups so it's not hypocritical. They were just being specific because of the slew of gay teen suicides last year. We are taught from a young age in school that bullying because of religion, disabilities, or appearance is wrong. I never once was told not to bully kids for being gay. A lot of teachers even turn their head when it happens. They are just kind of saying something some teachers are afraid to.
