i know how this feels.. girl, i lost my barrel horse last year. it was our last barrel run of the season. and he had a bad fall.. and no he didn't get back up.. i raised him from when i was 4 till now. i'm 17 now. he was my best friend, my baby. i didn't think i could do this without him. i miss him still everyday of my life. i never thought i would have a different horse. now i have a 15 year old mare. never ran barrels in her life. i miss my baby boy. :( keep you head up high.

we lost a mare due to colic a few years ago and i still feel like its my fault cuz if i chose her to show she would have been more fit and maybe could have fought it...im sorry for your lose but if you loved them and they loved you they are never far behind.

She's such a gorgeous mare.. I'm truly sorry for your loss. As a horse-owner myself, I realize how it feels to lose a horse. I had gotten a little filly for christmas one year. She had just come off the track. Never been saddled or ridden other than on the track. The very first day I got her in a western saddle, she let me on her back with no problem. She ended up getting sick in February and passing away. I also made a tribute video for her. Just know that Jass is always watching over you..
OMG poor Jazz! She was so amazing! We had to put down our broodmare in June and we'd had her for 14 years. We were breeding her for the last time and she didn't catch and then her arthritis was so bad she couldn't walk.
I had the same thing happen to a mare that was very close to me and she looks kinda like jazz her name was lil. mare and we could pull her out of the pasture and make a perfect run she was amazing i know exzactly how you feel so... just remember you will ride her again one day and she is watching you she is proud she is amazed by what you do she loves you and you love her never forget her ..... by my oppinion she was absolutly AMAZING!!!!!!

I know I don't know you or Jazz but I'm so very sorry, losing any animal, ecspecially one as close as Jazz is just terrible. Your bond shined through all of your videos and inspired myself as well as many others. When I first started riding I remember thinking "I want to be exactly like Jazz and Ashley". Jazz loved you very much, she gave her heart to you in every run and she will be blessing the ground you run on.

This is gorgeous. I know Jazz loved you as much as you loved her.
But I don't think she would want you to hurt, and dwell on everything.
You did the right thing, and she was so lucky to have an owner like you.

I'm so sorry Ashley. Jazz was a great, beautiful, and kind horse. I really loved watching all the videos over the years of her running barrels and being trained. She was great at everything she did. God Bless you and your family.

When a horse like her comes into your life there's no turning back, you'll love them for ever, all the barrels you turn, the trips you take, and even all the falls you make you'll love your horse forever. im so sorry for your loss ashley. Jazz was an amazing horse and wanted to give you everything. However you did what was right for her and ended her pain. Never look back on that decision with regret or guilt and always remember all the memories you had with her. She will always be a part of your life where you changed for the better. Just because she is gone does not mean we won't be praying for you and your family. This is a great loss. You make others appreciate what they have. Stay strong.

i can't imagine the pain your going through after losing such an amazing horse, she was really one of a kind. i learned so much from you two, you guys were role models for me and my horse. nothing can replace the bond you two had.

Rest In Peace Jazz :( im so sorry ashley for your lose, my friend lost her two horses in march of 2010 and its was pretty hard for me too because they were like my own horses. i feel for yea girlie

I am so sorry about your lose.
It will be hard to get over at first, but the pain will slowly fade and it will be a great memory of her that you will always hold!
This video is so sad, i was literally balling my eyes out.
Jazz is in a much better place now, and took a strong loving family to know that she was in to much pain to bare anymore.
