Damn this is nothing i ever imagined. I've always thought Mexico was poor and full of Drug dealers, because of those movies they made in U.S. But this video is awesome. Respect
how the hell did you guys get into El Torre Mayor? Once I tried going in and they didn't let me. :( Anyways great video of my favorite city, hope you enjoyed your stay :)
@Cricketbrothas23 I was very fortunate to have a friend who is well connected to the owner of the building. It was indeed pretty amazing to be way up there!
therez something bout that city...its polluted, not xactly safe, traffic sucks, its always busy and loud (compared to vancouver) and 4 some reason i can't get enough go there every year
@griveramx Muchas gracias for your kind words. Some of my favourite people in the world live in your beautiful country. I have only good wishes for great things in Mexico in the future!
@vancouver57 is a pleasure to meet people like you because as you know many people hate and we have more Latin America and the United States some day I'd like to meet people like you if you ever go to Mexico you are welcome you and your family
@ericneo101 Amigo, the problem isn't so much with the earthquakes but with the soil underneath. Mexico City used to be a huge lake. Once drained, the land underneath is very unstable. To make a building secure, holes have to be drilled very, very far down and then foundation supports attached. This makes it very expensive. Incidentally, in Miami, Florida you'll notice a similar but different phenomenon which is why there are few to no underground parking garages there.
Indeed, it is more difficult to build skyscrapers in Mexico City. But building up rather than out would be one partial solution to reducing the insane traffic problems there.
More?? why?, Do you know it is more difficult to build skyscrapers in Mexico City, because of the unstable foundation?... Mexico has many skyscrapers all over the city... but some more would be nice tho...

Nice video. It would have been even better if the music in the background was from Mexico and not from Spain...
