This isn't realistic, but it's the technique that counts. You can brush the paint on in whatever way you want.

@25Vasile its the square bracket keys "[" and "]" the open bracket for decreasing brush size and closed one for increasing the brush size...thats about windows...i dunno bout mac though....hope it helped..! :)) happy photoshopping.!!

u hosen i fail color the blending options that can have a natural color is soft lite hue color(low opaque if needed)

Another way that is easy and still looks realistic is to use the Gaussian blur. Just paint the color you want around the model's eyes and then go to filter-blur-guassian blur. Then just slide the little bar up and down until you find something that looks good. Always make sure you're on a new layer thoug! :)
