  • @actress4life116 whats it called? ive been looking for it for a while

  • i can't understand why christine chose raoul when eric is so much greater...♥ i would marry him instead :D

  • I have a snow globe that plays this song cus near July they had a play so we bought it for about 20$

  • it's so fuck*ng awesome

  • i feel bad for anyone who dislikes this, it makes me sad they cant hear beauty :(

  • the phantom is evil because everybody makes him evil cos at the start of the film they whack him

    with a hammer

  • @xHoneyLoverx lol, i laughed but i guess you pretty much covered it mate :)

  • 17 people doesn't listen to the music of the night.

  • love the lyrics...its like my father singing to me

  • I get so sad when Christine picks Raoul. Sure, he's more mentally stable... BUT THE PHANTOM IS THE SEXY, PASSIONATE, SMOULDERING ONE.

  • I'm glad she didn't choose him. More for me! <3

  • anybody hear a song that turns them on a little bit but makes you melt at the same time? ........... yup.

  • @CSIdork Yuppers

  • The second I heard this song I fell in love with it immediately!!

  • Brava! One of my favorites in the whole movie/ theatrical play!

Ah the play...It was so good...too bad I was so far up all I could see was the white speck of the Phantom's mask...

  • I personally think that this is the best version. Love <3.

  • @anime1893 So true. You watch anime? I love anime. And I'm obsessed with this play. I think we'll get along well.

  • Chmcrjsadazbjkkybjjrg.love.

  • phatom of the opera is my favorite musical of all time :)

  • Mandy009 well Gerard Butler was my favorite phantom and he doe have that strong voice so i think it makes him the best phantom.

  • Why is there only a "like" and not a "love" button? So beautiful...

  • "Original "? Lol, thanks though!

  • I was all happy then I saw it wasn't Michael, the original Phantom.

  • This is the most beutiful song I have ever heard in my life it makes me want to cry

  • It's soo amazing! Thank you, Webber, for this great musical! I just saw the movie and could cry! Only Wonderful!

    Poor phantom ;(

  • *-3

  • I saw it on the 6 July 2011 this in London in her majesty's theatre it was a dazzling performance, bravo! Truly magical piece! London -3

  • Oh my god, I'm crying my eyes out right now--this is so beautiful!:~~)

  • Yes, Gerard Butler gives this song a more 'masculie' touch. Yet, I personally like this interpretation better, because I see the Phantom as someone, who is a genius on one hand, but someone who has been deeply hurt and has a fragile psyche. So making him sound too strong draws a different picture.

I don't mean to offend Mr. Butler. He's also a great artist! It's just a personal preference!

    Thanks for posting this video!!

  • soooo beautiful...

  • I Can Appreciate This But I Feel Strongly That Gerard Butler Still Brings The Best Masculinity To Any Table For Singing This Song. Everyone Else Pales In Comparison.

  • @Mandy009 well no-one can be more manly than someone who played a friggin spartan lmao

  • I could marry the phantom....

  • @brilliantoctopus good for you! You must be very nice to love a face like his! I want to marry him!

  • 13 people dont know what real music is and/or they have never seen phantom of the opera

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!! <3

  • gerard butler sings it better, my opinion

  • @xXvampygxX

andrew lloyd sings it awesome too

  • @xXvampygxX yes i argree but webbber is the composer and he knows it better

  • My friend Danielle loves this song. HI DANIELLE!

  • @JustJessieNYC123 lmfaooo<3 I love u jessie ;D

  • @Lovebug85022 Lol!!! Omg u wrote back XDDD

  • This is my favorite musical<3

  • this is really fucking creepy

  • One of the best songs ever! I have to play it on piano, and sing it! I love to sing, but I get stage fright. RAWR to Phantom lovers. (RAWR is I love u in dinosaur) :) -3

  • 11 people will never hear the music of the night

  • So sweet, one of my favorite songs in the entire musical.

  • baby has been crying for hours. i played this and.. finally.. shes asleep:D

  • Excellent high note.

  • This version is very good, but I want to see the original version from the movie by Joel Schumaher(2004). That's the best version of it.

  • @Eva12496 The original version was in the 80s, as a Broadway musical, if I'm not mistaken. The movie version came later. Not counting the 1925 movie version, which wasn't a musical. That was pre-Andrew Lloyd Webber.

  • @Dazthewolf Ok, thanks for the reply. I still prefer thiat version:-).

  • @Dazthewolf that*, sorry.

  • I love this song, definitely my favorite from Phantom of the Opera

  • dude...me and a friend ballroom danced to this while i was singing it for a talent show haha...it was intense and we won first place haha

  • It isn's sang by Gerard Butler?

  • beautiful! thanks for the video

  • Beautiful song! Love the movie! Best manu script ever!

  • 4:09 - 4:31

  • Haha, yes I realized that. I'm actually going to rejoin chorus next year (I can't do it this year because its too late)

  • Oh, nice! Graham is too good, but Michael Crawford is better :)

  • I remember when I was very young and staying at my grandmother's house. She had recently received the video from my aunt and played it at night. I was simply entranced by this song and loved it. It's still my favorite.

  • I prefer this version over the new movie version. This one shows his emotion more. The new version's Phantom seems rough and edgy. More ridged. Computers to edit the sound don't make it better than pure talent.

  • @danarapel lol i didn't actually mean no one, but that name sounds familiar, i'm trying to think of who he is. i'm just gonna look him up anyway

  • danarapel: totally agree about Danny elfman!

    nice video

  • the video is really pretty and the font is beautiful. by the way dont mind me asking what font it that..

  • I like the lyrics!!!

  • The font fits very well! Thank you for sharing! Please don't let comments like those from grandia09 discourage you. Anyone who uses the language that he does probably doesn't even know what a font is!

  • Love this song <3

  • @grandia09 I know, I just wanted to help people who wanted lyrics and this font seemed to fit well.

  • no one makes lyrics like this anymore

  • Thank you for Lyrics video.

I hope that you enjoy David Hinde Sings Music Of The Night too.

  • I love this song. The phantom is so great. I <3 the Phantom.

  • BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!

You do not belong at the Junior prom, whats-her-face!

  • @elerico lol hey the ugly one your lookin real makey-outy tonite

  • @LadyDorien

The font is hard to read.

  • @LadyDorien Hey, I can read and its a little hard to read. That was really rude of you to say that. How would you like it if I went and killed your mother? Its the same thing. Its rude, and uncalled for. Now, that you know how to act you should be ashamed of yourself!!!!

  • @brndnoyah It has absolutely nothing to do with killing one's mother.

    You crazy ass person.

  • @LadyDorien I never said it did!!!

  • @brndnoyah You say it's the same thing.

    Nut.

  • @brndnoyah thats definitly not the same thing as killing her mother.... sorry but it's a HUGE difference...

  • @atwilightfanpire haha doofus.;)

  • @atwilightfanpire LOL!!!! I listen to the song mainly. and I try to understand it... I thoughtt I was the only one!!! ;-)

  • @atwilightfanpire It's not that read. It's olde world cursive.

  • love the script, but i can't read it lol

  • were singing this in choir at my school!!ilove this song!!

  • It's definitely not Butler or Crawford. Does anyone know who this is? It's really good.

  • why is it pink haha

  • his voice just speaks to me i love his voice so much lol OMG i love this song SO MUCH my dad used to sing this song to me when i was a little girl and it is one of my FAVORITE songs!!!!!! i love the movie too i went and saw the phantom of the opera show on the strip it was sooooooooooooo good i felt like i was really with them, and Gerard Butler is so so awesome!!!

  • I cant hear it.

  • amazing

  • I'm now playing The Phantom of The Opera in Wind Symphony, Mr. O handed it to us.

I'm very excited to play it, especially The Music of The Night. Now I go to watch the movie. ^^

  • this is my lullaby..

  • Amazing video ^_^

    Phantom is indescribable

  • Beautiful Song.

HAVE YOU HEARD DAVID HINDE SING MUSIC OF THE NIGHT ON YOU TUBE

IT IS GETTING VERY GOOD COMMENTS

  • Comment removed

  • Micheal Crawford sand it so much better. then John Cudia. This guy is..horrible

  • His voice sounds awkward and I when I saw the movie I left the room because I wont let him ruin this amazing song. *sang

  • That Butler fellow sure has alot of talents.

He can kick ass in 3 Hundreds.

And sing like an Angel in Phantom.

  • yea I couldn't believe that was the same guy that usually plays the "bad ass" roles. Although the Phantom wasn't really a "good guy" it's supprising to see a guy that plays the roles he has playing in an musical Opera. I always thought the Phantom was hot on his good side, but I can't believe it's the same guy they look so different

  • i HAVE A QUESTION: Is Gerard Butler who sings or he just plays his role?

  • @neologosattikis AWNSER: He sings and plays the role.

  • @neologosattikis, he sings and plays the role, i believe.

  • he sings and plays but this isnt him singing

  • there are no words....only "senses that abandon their defences..."

  • There's no other sentace to describe this song:

It's awesome and it pwns all.

  • This is an amazing piece of art. I mean. Andrew Lloyd Webber sure knows how to make your jaw drop. I learned to play this on the Cello and the feeling of playing it is amazing. It's like your heart slows down and your calm and... actually, I'm like in atrance when I play it or hear it. I LOVE IT! Just as all the other songs from Phantom of the opera. This... There are no words to describe it. It's awsome

  • Love this stuff, man.

  • to the person who asked what legato is they are the longer notes that seem to flow into each other, thee have a musicality where staccato are short and choppy and abrupt

oh and i love this song soo much i saw the play years ago and im so sad i can't see it again it was awesomenss!!!!

  • LURVE THIS SONG.

  • ive never heard this version before, its good. i only heard the gerard butler one from the movie hehe.

  • i love your font. and this songgg. =)

  • i love the music in this . simply spectacular

  • this isnt michael crawford, but good tho :-)

  • I love this song too!

  • I love it!

  • wonderful simply wonderful

  • Uhm, has the conductor been informed about the concept of 'legato'?

  • whats legato?

  • @longlivereligion very connected and together there isnt space between the notes unlike stacato or accented

  • its micheal crawford (hes the original phantom)

  • does anyone have this version on mp3 pls ?? or any version !! plssssssss THANK YOU !!

  • i got to see this play on broadway

  • don't know who is singing this but it is definetly not gerard butler... but who ever sings it it is great!!

  • @dookie1777 I think it might be Michael Crawford, I believe he did the original on stage.

  • @dookie1777 it micheal crawford form 1986

  • @22sarah54 This one's Graham Bickley.

  • Starseeker100 Can anyone tell me who is singing this song. He has a great voice.

  • I'm pretty sure that it is Michael Crawford.

  • The play is so amazing I saw it on Broadway and it's just addicting! The phantom has the most amazing voice!

  • creppy!

  • i think Gerad Butler is singing this :D

  • omg same!! when i saw the play i fell in love with it too xDD i phantom of the opera!!!!!!

  • who sings this, also this is not the original version this is a new one, the original was with Micheal Crawford.

  • The phantom is the Best

  • Fuck you. This song is amazing.

  • I watched the movie like 7 times. I love it, and I cry each time, I certainly love their songs, and when I decided to quit chorus, my teacher decided to perform this. Its NOT fair!

  • Ha-ha... Sorry, it's just that other peoples' misfortunes are funny.

  • @alexhasacrush ...but everyone older knows...it's not good to quit...if you quit...than it's over...as long as you try...there's always a good time...ups and downs...it's all good.=)

  • *drool* what a sexpot! <3

  • So beautiful voice. It's the same voice in the movie?
