  • Ingrid Bergman is so beautiful! So is Madeleine LeBeau! Special effects are hokey by today's standards, but Casa Blanca has withstood the test of time and is considered by many, myself included, to be the best film of all time...

  • Thanks for posting this great song from a great movie.

  • Casablanaca my city ! i love Casablanca

  • play sam

  • @mipiacecazzeggiare 54 people should have got on the plane!

  • このシーン大好き!

  • Lol Dooley Wilson that's right!!

What a beautiful song??? One of the best ever!!!

  • In real life, Dooley Wilson (Sam), couldn't play the piano.

  • My favourite movie and superb song. Thanks for this clip

  • sigh I need to learn this one

  • Unforgetable song,thanks, 5!!!My fav.Maria Inês.

  • Tócala Sam, tócala.

  • love... no one can escape

  • Yes a KLASSIKER stays a classic when all the "Liedchen and Filmchen "are forgoten!I guess ,it was the only way for the 3!but Ricks nationalität is Alkoholiker smile. This movie is...dont find the right words "ABSOLUTELY SOECTACULAR"like like mohamedtexas writes.Hauptsache heil rauskommen aus der Sache grins,Ball flach halten war der Deal, doch wie lebt man nur um zu überleben?

  • Wonderful song!

  • I bot this movie on Blu Ray ... let me tell you it looks fantastic :)

  • Greetings from Casablanca Morocco.

  • I could be induced to arrange a passage

  • I have been in Rick's situation where i had to give up love

  • This movie and song are absolutely spectacular.

  • Classic!

Lovely song/movie and Ingrid Bergman is simply gorgeous.

  • There'll never come another one like Bogie!

Where are all the real men these days?!

  • this song on guitar is beautiful too :)

    LOVE it

  • Tell me you grow up loving this movie, you love it then you experience it. How, pray tell is this a good thing or even entertainment?

  • Care to clarify your point?

  • Well I question if we really empathize with the protagonists here as we enjoy all the 'romance". Look objectively at what these two characters experience. Permanent separation, and being forced to resist brutal occupation. The older I get and experience life, the more I find this film hard to watch.

  • I still don't think I understand your problem with it. You're right about the things you said, but that's exactly what the film is portraying. Yes the film is most famous for it's romance, but it would be nearly as effective without the "negative" points you mentioned.

  • If you try and imagine going through what the protagonists do, then its far more a story about heroically facing tragic loss in grim and dangerous circumstances than about romantic love. In real life, major loss > golden moments hands down "as time goes by". So what if they will "always have Paris?" That would not trump an eternally empty bed nor facing a firing squad!

  • clearly you've never been in love.....

  • Clearly AlBasti102 you've never permanently lost love when your life and the lives of others were under threat. I'm sorry, I'm sticking with the fact that it isn't charming nor is it entertaining. No doubt your paramour just loves you leaping to spurious conclusions? You're the expert on love it seems, clue me in!

  • when your in love with someone, thenyou'll do anything for them so they can live, no matter how painful it may be....

  • Click*** my screen name if you wanna see a good love movie : )

  • Peliculón!

  • I love this song .. I love this movie... makes me cry...

  • i like this movie you should see my dvd collection i have a lot of classic movies

  • To je to...

  • ROUND UP THE USSUAL SUSPECTS...

  • "not only are you a scentimentalist, you've become a patriot"

  • Such great song... This guy looks like Loius Armstrong

  • Można oglądać na okrągło i wciąż się zachwycać !Zhyvilla

  • I almost cried on the movie when Ilsa says to Rick "One woman hurts you and you take it out on the world, right?"

Yeah...That got me thinking a bit.

  • ahhhhhh

  • The best!

  • (sigh) I love this movie Strat. (swoon) Thank you for sending this darlin.

  • Love the tears in his eyes ....

    Perfect movie :-)

  • Love this movie. Seen it at least 100 times, and still watch it. Perfect cast, music, writing. Even the style of clothing is classic.

  • Que c'est beau. Merci

  • This is a very sad song to me. Memories. Well heres lookin' at you kid.

  • The Paris flashback makes me so sad.

It really is so emotional, I can feel Rick's sadness.

  • Amazing song for an amazing movie.

  • Beautiful video, I love this movie it's perfect!

Lindo video, me gusta mucho esta película, es perfecta.

Lindo vídeo, amo esse filme, é perfeito !

  • did you people just seriously say that Ray Charles and Louis Armstrong sucked? are you smoking crack? you don't have to like them, but they don't suck. they probably alot better than you are

  • i think ilsa and rick just lusted for each other. illsa was probably just bored with her marriage because she does mention that her husband is very dedicated to his career. i mean they only have paris and they werent together in paris for very long so they couldnt have possible fallen in love in a matter of days

  • I don't think you watched the right movie.

Rick was in love with her, however brief their romance lasted in Paris. On the other hand Ilsa might have never loved Rick the way she loved her husband, but there was love.

  • They actually met in "Paris" and by the flashback scene it seemed that they were together quite a bit. And yes, it is possible to fall in love with someone in a short period of time. If the chemistry and the mood is right, anything is possible.

  • Beautiful video with some romantic scenes... Thanks a lot for sharing :)

  • for a second i thought it was jerry lee.

but the color....i don't know now.

  • could be...but to my mind it sounds more

    alternative suntained.

  • great montage

  • This film and this song are both timeless classics!!!

  • good video!!!

  • I really love this movie. Does anyone think that Ilsa really loved Rick? or was she faking it so that he would give her the visas?

  • she ABSOLUTLEY still loved him.

  • Timeless x

  • truly a great video.

  • My favorite movie of all time. You know that the Beautiful Ilsa will always be in Rick's heart.

  • I love this song and film

  • As time goes by, Casablanca just gets better...

  • Love this movie; a great love story set in the midst of war. Those make the best love stories, it seems; lovers in a dangerous time.

I turned 41 last August and that song is becoming more poignant, as time seems to go by so much quicker as the years pass.

  • feel the same

  • Quite beautiful movie... Celui qui n'a pas de frissons n'est pas un homo sapiens

  • 1,000.000 views!!! woohoo

  • Wow! this song make me feel in love, the music is so romantic & Sams' voice takes my soul to fantastic places on my dreams

    I absolutely love it

  • i SOOOO wanna watch the movie! i love this song :D

  • PLAY IT SAM......

  • my god, Ingrid Burgman was absolutely f***ing beautiful.

    :-D

    RIP Humphrey and Ingrid.

  • one of the most peerless songs straight from one's heart. i wonder how cum ppl can write such songs

  • Greatest Movie+Greatest Song=awsome

  • When she hum, her Swedish accent comes through

  • just can't ressit a feeling like that, a little bit bitter and sadness

  • you, all of you, must remember this!

  • Best song throughout the whole movie..

This movie is a true romantic classic. One of the best movies Hollywood has ever made. Especially the famous lines that came out of this movie..

"Play it again Sam, play As Time Goes By"

"Here's to looking at your kid"

"I think this is the begining of a beutiful friendship"

I really put my heart into this movie.

  • "Here's to looking at your kid?" lol it's actually "Here's looking at you kid." A lot of the lines are classic, but many are often misused. Like the I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship one, I know a lot of people used to say something else for that quote, but I don't recall what exactly they misheard it as (can't remember).

  • 'Play it again, Sam' is a misquotation, she says 'Play it once, Sam, for old times' sake'/'Play it, Sam, play 'As time goes by', he says 'you played for her you can play it for me'/'If she can stand it, I can, play it'. And many people who knows it doesn't come from Casablanca, think it comes from the Marx Brothers' film 'A night in Casablanca', but it's not said in that movie either. 'Play it again, Sam' is the title of Woody Allen's 1972 film. However, it's often associated to Casablanca.

  • Miraculous...

  • If you saw my pictures... you would think I was super freakin! lol

  • i loved this song after hearing it once! this movie seems really good... some day ill watch it! :) i like this song it makes me smile every time i hear it!!!!

  • Whoever edited this clip must have been IN LOVE! Thanks! Now I need a tissue..

  • VIVA PERON !!!!

  • good job to a great movie. You made it new again. thanks

  • thanks

  • ...oh, yes....as time goes by...

  • I never watched this movie.. But I am going to...one day. when I have lots of time, and boyfriend

  • Truly a classic! Thanks for posting this!

  • *sighs*

  • this is beautiful

  • The best film... the best stars... the best song... God, I love it!

    Thank you for posting this!

  • una de las mejores canciones del mundo

    chiiiiido

  • stars, celebs oh yes, a classic that will always please leave you with a tear. and today we the paris hotel chain type. more talent in my ..........

  • This film changed Bogart frmm a gangster to a romantic leading man. Robert Taylor and William Holden reportly have turned down the part of Rick.. Great movie! Never get tired of watching it.

  • I have never watched Casablanca. Maybe I should.

  • You had better do it. The movie was one of the greatest in its time frame. Bergman and Bogart were fabulous.

  • then why are you checking this out?! idiot!

  • Um, because I want too. Is that a satisfactory answer?

Why satisfy an imbecile I now ask myself.

  • how dare you say that you bitch!. CAsablanca is more entertaining than your pathetic life story!

  • you're so wise, but you don't know me. i didn't said any bad thing just my personal opinion. If you cannot understand this, well that is pathetic!!!

  • well, then your opinion sucks..I say Casablanca is the best movie ever

  • I respect your opinion, I cannot understand why can't you respect mine. I didn't say that yours sucks, but i don't like it. And I just don't know how can you despise somebody, who is just dont't like your favourite movie. Very fantastic!!

  • Wonderfull

  • play it again sam! play AS TIME GOES BY.

  • One of the most beautifully done videos I've seen on youtube. One of the best movies ever made. And, yes, I agree that Ingrid Bergman was the most beautiful woman to ever star in movies.

  • Beautiful movie

  • Spiel' es nochmal Sam!

  • One word is adequate. Classy.

  • ingrid bergman was possibly the most beautiful woman to ever live.

  • @ kleegel,

yes, absolutely, and: I once was in love and together with a woman who looked like her. Also her eye looks and moves were similar to Ingrid. Was not easy to disconnect...

  • ...believe what you want, it's your decition..

  • You're right. She is absolutely breathtaking. Her daughter is beautiful too, but nothing compares to the original.

  • One of my favourites films!!!, Thanks for the post.

  • Timeless song, timeless movie and timeless legends...

  • This song is probably one of the (if not the) most iconic movie songs ever. Very beautiful.

  • always cry at airport. did you know spielburg owns the sign as well as freedon from fear that he used as inspiration in framing a scene in empire of hte sun

  • A great movie! For eternity!!

  • Humprey Bogart is great actor! Song is just... incredible.

  • Bogart was a much better actor than most people give him credit for, and CASABLANCA isn't even his greatest performance, which is saying a lot. He never played the same role twice, he never got dull, and he always gave his films 110% no matter how terrible they were.

  • Exactly... it is so cliché for people to say that he played the same characters. I mean look at Casablanca and then The African Queen. TOTALLY different characters. And he surely had a great carrer. He was a great actor, no doubt.
