If you know your way around some tools you could honestly do the conversion yourself for 2 grand or less. All you need to do for your intercooler piping is swap it out with what they have for an S2000 and then install the parts. It fits in all the hangers and stuff. It's the shit lol.

It's in there now just dialing in the tune. It's running a TD06 20G turbo with meth and supporting mods. Should be in the 400-450whp range. If I want more then I would do a stroker build most likely with a bigger turbo. What about you?

The difference is the v8 owners have a better car atleast according to the catalogue. This is why people pursue the v8's not knowing that a properly tuned(not necessarily heavily) will outperform the V8. When they get smoked with there near stock v8 they start complaining about how the honda had to be modified blah blah blah blah

@g36m0 Great imports will never compare to domestics. Domestics have a reputation to uphold. Imports were a economical means of having some performance. Honda over developed a economic based car and created something nobody can touch. V8 owners are just as ricey as import owners can be. The difference is v8's are faster out the box. now if you have a v8 clocking a 12.2 a all motor 4 running a 12.6 who's car is farther away from what the catalogue says? who is actually a better builder?

pointless racing !, evrybody should race in their own class. The sti should go to the autocross track and rally racing and win world titles, and the civic should go back to been a poor mans ride racing from street light to the street light, maybe you could make rocket out of the civic but it still cant turn even if youre life depended on it.

minimumgravity it all comes down to preference some like subaru some like honda. at the end of the day they both have a master piece they can call there own.and for the record the sti is a 4 door but no adult can seat in the back seat try it.unless there under 5''6.they only make it a 4 door to save on the insurance so its not considered a sport car.

I always ask before going any EG "K swap?", I can tell by their faces if it's yes or no...Once their is rain though, I'm gone and in the snow, there is nothing more fun than thrashing my Sti sideways, nothing.

You don't beat that AWD, Chasi, launch control, etc. An STI is not a straight line car, yet eats most cars in a straight line. Put it on a track and its right behind an Evo 8, which eats lambos on a track.

I remember a couple friends tried to race me (one with an '08 Civic couple, lowered, added a turbo, and did all kinds of mods that cost him over $20,00. My other friend just had a stock '05 Camry but he didn't care. And I have an '06 STi)
After I beat them both, I told him, (The Camry didn't care, he expected to lose) "No matter how you tune your Civic, and how much money you put into it, it will still be a Civic, and nothing more."

Actually, yeah. There are fast Civics. There's an N/A K20a swapped Civic here in Vegas that runs 11's. I'll bet that's faster than anything you drive.
