This is FreeMason propaganda in disguise. No one was convicted for his killing, but not for lack of witnesses. The Newspapers, the Constables and the Judges were ALL FreeMasons.
His death created such a fury by word of mouth alone that 45,000 out 50,000 members left the Brotherhood. It caused the formation of the AntiMasonic Party, which put John Quincy Adams in office. The people of Batavia provided a 10ft tall marker installed in a square, to mark his death, so none would ever forget!
What became of morgan is no fucking "mystery". The man was MURDERED by these fucking freemasonic maniacs. Even the charge he was originnaly arrested on- theft of a shirt and tie- wreaks of BULLSHIT. Trumped up charges. And when he was acquitted on that charge, he wa s rearrested on some more bullshit about him owning a debt of 2.68 cents. of course thi s was done to keep him from publishing the book
I have a book Light on Masonry, dated1829 - just 2 years after his abduction, it says he was put in a debtors prison and then at night he was taken forceably and "Morgan was tried by some sort of counsil, or tribunal, which sentenced him to death - that he was executed by having his throat cut; his tongue was torn out"
Parinda. The book was published in December of 1826, a couple months after Morgan vanished. David C. Miller, his partner released the book for $1 a copy and found it not moving well. There is some question as to whether the book published was Morgan's work or a copy of another exposure. Most of the manuscript had been confiscated by Masons prior to the abduction.
For the past four weeks or so I have been pestered psychically by a Grandmaster mason from Yorkshire in England, and have been reminded of a supposed "promise" I gave in my youth to offer my self as a sacrifice (literally, not metaphorically). Much devious trickery has been employed to cajole/scare me into agreeing to this.
I would value anyones advice on this matter . My life is being made a misery because of it.
@Nick0783 My reply to MrJackonian was with a note of irony there. I AM very skeptical of anyone who claims psychic power over anything much less another person. I believe a person might have an overwhelming personality but do not believe they have an ability to project thoughts. I think if one believes you're under some sort of psychic attack, you have to be careful and defend.. but that at times all you're defending against are your own fears.

@MrJackonion Perhaps you might want to find a good counselor or psychiatrist. They can help greatly in cases like that.

Brother Stephen, didn't Morgan successfully publish the book, or someone else publish his book?
It is available for reading for those who look for it.
Don't really understand why he would expose the blue lodge and york rite.
