Despite the fact they will admit that Terran tier 1 can own Toss in the early game, yet Protoss have a bigger advantage in the late game when they get higher tier units and upgrades, they will continue to attempt to end the game in the first 7 minutes. @ck567, im playin protoss myself and this build cracks almost every protoss player (thats why terrian is so op :P). so, if protoss wasnt that awesome and id be playin terrain id go the same build everytime in tvp. however, a phoenix/gateway units build is probably the most micro-intense build there is and its extremely difficult to pull off, especially at the beginning

I like to see it because phoenices are part of my standard arsenal against Terran (a lot of people call me insane but this is basically what you've got to do with them, you CAN use them in your main army).

Also, phoenices are NOT fragile, they have 180 hp, the viking has 125, banshees 140. They just LOOK fragile.

the reason we hate no commentary on the first few minutes of the game is because there's no discussion of openings/build orders/playstyles (going early gas, quick tech, mass production, possible cheese, etc.), which is so important (hence why all the top-level players always do early scouting with a worker), and so we can see how players alter their opening builds to react

I don't understand why TLO didn't switch to Collosus instead of HT, he already had air superiority to deny the Viking counter, it would have required less micro (allowing better Phoenix control), and also does more damage (especially with the wall of charged zealots in front, that allow Collosus to outrange terran bio).
