The first thing they should have done was have evrybody move their cars way out of the zone. Then have a crane tie off to the tree and lift while he made the cut at the base. Then slowly lower the tree to the ground. The second and more easier method is to just spike up the tree and the chunk it down in three to five foot sections at a time. These guys were insane for trying this. They were inexperienced, and did not even have basic tree removal equipment. Very very dangerous.

uhh yeah...powerlines are not good, when hurricane irene came to jersey it took down one of my trees the branches were leaning on the powere line and i got no where near it till the company came and cut the branch off the line, then i tipped the guy a few bucks to cut more lol...i took care of the rest and im no tree man, i rented the saw from homedepot...and im a mexican, these guys make me look bad
