I watched this movies when it came out in South Africa... Im sorry but it was offically the WORST FILM i have ever seen. The cinamatography was weird and random, the acting was very poor, and the plot was not even scooted along. No rising action at all. Im sure if you are very very familiar with the Hansie story you will appreciate it more...possibly. I love south africa more than my motherland...but this film will forever be the worst film i have ever seen.
i agree with Srijita. He was a great captain. The thankless cricketing world didnt have the heart to forgive him. Did u guys know that he actually never fixed a match ?
See the documentary "The Captain and the Bookmaker (parts 1-6)" on youtube. You'll find that even though he never fixed a game, he did take money and used his profound influence to coerce players to under-perform and then "under pay" them their share. He was a great captain, and I was a big admirer, but greed and wrong use of power corrupted him.

he did fix the match.and he was banned for lifetime and with herchelle gibs was too banned for 6 months and ordered penalty of rs60,000
