i guess in US people stick shift in Europe automatic is for people with handicaps.Try to put first gear and let off the clucth very slowly without putting your foot on the gas see how that works
i noticed every how to videos not yours in particular, that when your shiftting, ppl dont explain why u hit neutural, for a sec before going into gears, beginners just go straight into a gear and they either a bad shift or grind
@TVTVTV3030303030 example your coming somewhat close to a stop so u put it in neutral and coast, either a child, a ball, bamby(anything really), gets into the road and you need to give the car gas to swerve out of the way or else your drift or possibly roll over and crash, if your in neutral you cant give the car gas meaning because you wanted to be lazy you put other lives and yours in danger
HANDBRAKE FOR JAYSUS SAKE NOT A FUCKING E-BRAKE GOD PLZ AMERICANS STOP COMIGN UP WITH RETARDED Names also including stick shift god its a manual atleast this guy didnt say stick shift
@06tCmF well wouldnt the drag on the car slow you down? meaning that when you push in the clutch the car will slow down. maybe not very fast but it definitely will.
@coconut2four All Cobras 2003-2004 come with a Supercharged from the Factory, also all of the GT500 2007-present come with a Supercharger from the factory.
i noticed you approached junctions in neutral, which would instantly fail you in a UK driving test. Travelling in neutral or with the clutch in is known as coasting, which can reduce steering contol and can cause you to significantly lose control of your speed when going downhill. Why not shift up gears when coming towards a junction?
you only clutch it when the engine reaches about idle rpm. So if you are coming up to a light, leave it in gear until the rpm's reach idle then clutch and put in neutral, if the light turned green and you are in neutral, you have to hunt to find the right gear.

@ryanair737400, I wonder if the name comes from the fact that if you pull the handbrake at speed, you're more likely to have an emergency...

@ryanair737400 e-brake = emergency brake, that name isn't stupid at all!

question , u let off the gas when shifting correct
GreatOneOwns 3 years ago
yes, you need to let off all the gas and hit the clutch to the max, and then let off the clutch at the same time you accelerate.
my english sucks, i know
pedinhuh16 3 years ago
actually i can't find any errors other than some slang. It's pretty much ffine.
jakashh 2 years ago
not all the way, just let off so the engine is at a neutral load, if you shift fast you dont have too let the throttle all the way up.

This is hard, I live in New York City. NYC driving is stop and go every sec.
masterlee123 3 years ago
probably not the smartest thing to have in new york city, you need an automatic, or a taxi
