How much power did you get out of cams alone? Most people don't go for the cams usually only twin screw sc upgrade, but hardly anyone does the cams...
@marshonmellows yeah it's a rare mod for terminator cobras - the reason being, like you said, is that you can get loads of power elsewhere. however, I had to replace my heads anyways, so I figured I'd do the cams too. Without a ported supercharger, the gain was minimal (because I maxed out the airflow of the stock supercharger), but if I had a port, I could have made upwards of 570rwhp, whereas a ported cobra with stock cams and a port would make close to 510rwhp.
@spdfrkRACING i want to do the cams in mine, but it's so damn expensive. i have a ported eaton and some support mods and make 503rwhp. want to upgrade to a whipple over the summer, but man i love that sound difference the cams make.
@bygtymr Yeah it's definitely a dilemma if there isn't anything wrong with your heads in the first place. However, you will easily grab 560+rwhp with a ported eaton and cams, but like you said.. instead of a whipple.. that whipple is hard to turn down! I will say this though.. quite a few whippled terminator cobras out there, not many terminators with cams.
