@ZachariahLogan Wow...I just made the same remark in the previous video...Buddy it's the previous video that's the half-way mark coz' lecture 4 is 2 videos!! Anyways, u are 2 months ahead of me so it would be great to hear from you...would motivate me further to roll though the remaining half...From India here..and you?
@bangalorebully United States, here. Ya, it is helpful, but he does take it really slow, but he is an extremely effective professor, especially for a video thing
@ZachariahLogan Slow ??Well, what I feel if one uses a book for the same thing it would take much more time and half as interesting...and hey, you didn't answer my other question--Can I easily roll into Calculus one I am done with these 40 videos??How far have you gone into calculus?? What you think about Mr Delaware's calculus course??As good as this one??Nice to hear from you....
@bangalorebully well it all depends were you want to take calculus, if you want to take it at a college, then you would have some classes you have to take first, but you can test out of them, (that's what I did) if you want to take a calculus course in HS, then I would first suggest talking to a councilor, but you would want to brush on some trigonometry, and geometry after watching these, before you jump into calculus.
@ZachariahLogan Thanks for your answer...In fact that what I too had planned..brushing up trigonometry after this (before jumping into calculus)...Anyways, can you tell me what you mean by "geometry" in "Trigonometry and geometry"?? I felt "Geometry of R2 (square) would be enough..What you feel??Do tell..I won't be shying from any topic ...which topic in geometry u mean exactly ( You see, I am fed up living in fear of calculus...This time I'll be finishing it off!!
@bangalorebully well, as with Trig. Geo, is the mathematics of shapes, so if you learn 3-d geometry, some Pythagorean theorem you should be alright, but it won't be too hard.
@ZachariahLogan would appreciate if you answer this last one-Have you gone through Mr Delaware's Calculus course? You think it's good??From Piratebay, I have the TTC calculus series by prof Bruce Edwards of Florida Univ.Which one would you suggest ? The TTC video seems very good and "chic",But after going through the college algebra stuff by Delaware, I have turned more comfortable with Mr Delaware and his no-frills videos than any other...What is your opinion about Mr Delaware's Calculus videos?
@ZachariahLogan Further, can u tell me if finishing this 40 video series would "arm" me with the requisite knowledge to "assault" calculus?? You into Mr Delaware's calculus videos these days??Plz do respond...only a few seem to cover this whole series....
AH! HALF WAY THROUGH!
