  • I love your voice, it so awesome and the food look so good. I like it.

  • @KisaraCrystal Thankyou :)

  • This is great! Im going to make this on Thanksgiving :)

  • @orangebowl79 Same here! But how much milk did he use? It can't have been the entire 1 Litre.

  • @TheMetrainer8 It was 1 litre, you have to make a fair bit of the sauce for a casserole that size. The milk bottle was a 2 litre bottle so that may have caused confusion.

  • @orangebowl79 I hope you enjoyed :)

  • i always thought that scalloped potatoes would be to hard to make but i followed the instructions and my dish turned out great!!! THANK YOU!!!

  • @leia3772 Awesome! Glad you enjoyed them :)

  • @sweetdream

In Australia most milk bottles are 2L and I think he poured in half of it

  • Hi, thanks for this great dish, can't wait to try it, my question, did you use one litter of milk, because I’ve noticed that you didn't pour the whole milk on the pan!!!

  • @SweetDreams1430 Hi there, yes I used a litre, as mentioned by TheJoshVideo, our bottles are 2 litre.

  • i love it.. can't wait to cook it tomorrow. thnx

  • Some crushed bacon would be good on that as well.

  • @dbmrhi yes :)

  • How did you slice them that thin???

  • @rockubabe It's pretty easy when the potato is raw, just use a nice sharp knife.

  • @rockubabe most likely though, he probably just used a mandoline to slice it that thin :)

  • @myfester nvm ignore my comment above. ( although using a mandoline would be much easier :) )

  • @rockubabe Mandolin slicer I bet. They work great for something you want consistant slices of thickness.

  • question do u have to boil the potatoes bf puttin them in the oven ?

  • @caribbeanmixchicas Hi, you'd never want to boil them first. If you did, they'd simply fall apart. You want fairly thin slices of potato and they will cook through in the oven.

  • @caribbeanmixchicas Nope, use raw potatoes

  • kalami!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Xianman06 Yes, that would work great!

  • I never made these on the grill, but have to now.

This is a food that everyone likes. Sprinkle some breadcrumbs on the top of that really adds a nice kick too.

I'll try a batch next time I have a pile of coals still hot after I'm done grilling.

  • @daveh013 Nice mate, the grill does do something magic to anything that enters it, hope you enjoy :)

  • @AussieGriller I can not agree with you more!

  • OMG YUM!

  • @Gracieisawsome Thanks :)

  • @gdub12345 Thankyou :)

  • wow that chicken looked amazing... i'd love to see a video on it!

  • @heidishoshana lol the chicken turned out great! I did a charcoal chicken video a few months ago, although this one looked better :)

  • Aha, looks like a roux base turned into a kind of béchamel sauce. Very nice - I use a similar sauce when I make lasagna, and of course a similar layering and cooking method too (covered with foil, removed to then crisp up). One thing I do with the lasagna that you could do with these potatoes: when you remove the foil before the final cooking, sprinkle a little panko (Japanese-style breadcrumbs) over the cheese. Extra tasty! ;)

  • @darkowl9 Yes, it's basically a lasagne with potato and bechamel. Come to think of it, this would be delicious with bolognaise layers as well! :)

  • another cracker... you're on a roll at the moment. well done griller.

  • @tonehawke Thanks tonehawke :)

  • How did you slice the potatoes?

  • @Silkymits2000 Just with a knife, althought you could do it with a large food processor or one of those grater-like slicers

  • @Unduore LOL.
