  • thanks..very helpful :)

  • The Buddha himself did not say bad things about Madonna or any slut, and neither should we

  • If only MADONNA watched this!!! he he. Absolutely fabulous man! Tsem Rinpoche bring profound Lamrim teachings in to today's modern society. He is so skillful, funny and so kind. Rinpoche is the modern TODAY'S Guru for the TODAY'S Problems!

  • Where has this guy been! What a wonderful teacher, I enjoyed and learned much from this teaching! Would love to hear more from him.

  • Haha! The best spiritual leaders are the ones with a sense of humor about the path; serious enough to take the practice seriously, but never serious to an excess so that we can be free and open with it.

  • Also, I think that maybe Tsem Tulku does not like Madonna, but is practising what he has just taught by being very nice about her.

    It is very clever.

  • Excellent as always.

A true guru will say that the best offering to him is your spiritual practise.

Thankyou for this wonderful teaching. xxx

  • All this is funny because it is true! We really make an ass out of ourselves with our conduct at the center. We really must be more sincere with our practice and incorporate the teachings within.

  • Rinpoche is really like the Madonna of Tibetan Buddhism. His organization is unique with all its various departments and Liaisons that is modern, relevent and sincere. Wonderful means to spread Buddhism in this day and age.

  • Oh no! I actually love Tsok because of the beautiful haunting melody of Lama Chopa. In fact, Lama Chopa was composed by the first Panchen Lama and he composed the melody and it was said that he recorded the beautiful chants from the celestial songs the dakinis sing.

  • Some students are only interested in Pujas and not any of the center's activities! They claim to be interested in anything but that and yet they listen to the same Lama as those that engage in those activities. They do very little to support the center but they walk in like they own the place. Sigh!

  • As students we should be aware and get ready to be challenged and go beyond our concepts and bad habits to make the Dharma grow.

  • Rinpoche is a real guru, who upset when student break their commitment. 7.30

  • Its so beautiful to hear these teachings again. I think all of Rinpoche's teachings that I have heard is based on the Lamrim. He uses contemporary explanations and examples to illustrate important points within the Lamrim. Thereby it makes the Lamrim relevant to us.

  • Wow! HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche exposes the hypocrisy in spiritual practice. Many focus on external practice but forget that real spiritual practice is really deep within when we transform and has nothing to do with the rituals. The rituals are just an expression of that transformation.

  • I wonder what Rinpoche see in Madonna? I wonder is it her steely drive to make it? Her chameleon-like abilities to adapt to the current trend? Her Vajrayogini-like sexual appeal? Perhaps all the above? Just some thoughts I had

  • I love Rinpoche when he was talking about Tsok practice. He is so funny and so true. I have observed that in my center. Sometimes they just argue right after Tsok and I wonder why they even bother to recite those holy auspicious verses anyway.

  • my 2 favorites - madonna & tsem :-)

  • Didn't hear H E Tsem Tulku RInpoche say he is the Madonna of Tibetan Buddhism? He He He. Nonetheless, Rinpoche is an extremely effective teacher.

  • Thank you for this important talk!

  • This is the Jim Carrey under the dharma teachers! Thanks for that...

    Space and joy inseparable.

  • Thanks you Rinpoche for passing down the important message here......I'm do agree we should forgive those people who have hurt us, practising patient, compassion, and forgiving is the key point here....I will remember that, and treat all my enemy as my Guru....

  • For me Dharma practice without agenda is the real path. It comes from within.

  • Its like what's special things u do if you love someone who love u. Its how to give hands to someone who u think hurt u or hate u. Finding own guru in yourself is the way. Thanks!

  • Finding my inner Guru...I have to think about this deeper...Sometimes the words of Rinpoche seem easy to me but than I realize that knowing something and practising it are different things...there are so many levels and and angles of understanding...

  • after listening to this video i find that my anger has reduced a lot....wow...incredible...I do have something in my mind I'd like to discuss..maybe I'll post in their forums

  • I did try a few times to be kind to harmers i still do try, i must have done it wrong tho i ended up depressed and felt walked on, but this is good for cultivating egolessness and realizations, so keep on practicing and it does happen transformation is gained through hard ships and life becomes richer im sure, Dharma is beautifull.

  • remember, being kind to people who have harmed you does not mean you allow them to harm you further. You just dont get worked up over them.

  • I think i know what you mean, that if there is a way to put a stop to it without anger then thats the way right

  • for me I just see it as a problem: getting angry or worked up over it doesnt help so why do it? instead find a solution that can be applied and then do it all the way.

  • Ha ha ha ha ha! Rejoice!

  • Hahaha! The damaru broke!

Real guru devotion is attacking our deluded mind, applying effort and transform our mind - Great!

A real guru woould want us to find our own guru in us!

    Madonna is supreme - Hehehe!

  • what does a breaking damaru mean? I still dont really get it :P But what Rinpoche mentioned about tsog/ganachakra is that it's not about a bunch of prayers or rituals, it's transformation and rituals and prayers are just an expression of it.

  • Can meditation help sociopaths to be able to love and have emphathy?

  • it depends on the case. Meditation is just a tool, it's not a miracle cure all. In fact, people who are mentally ill are more often adviced to seek professional help before pursuing the meditation course. Lama Tsongkhapa's practice can help, however. neonlama(dot)com

  • the 8 verses of transforming the mind may be hard to follow, but it is even harder if you do not follow it because what that entails when the 8 verses are not practice is even harder to bear and harder to deal with. might as well bear some suffering now than later. compassion conquers all (kechara(dot)com)

  • if you consider yourself a spiritual person, or someone who is religious, the effect of that must be that there our minds change from being a nasty, uncaring person to someone who cares about others that thinks of only benefitting others and is able to forgive the people who has treated you unfairly. kecharahouse(dot)com

  • for those people who are into rituals and tantra, or even simple Buddhist study, the result must be that they are able to give something positive back to the people who have hurt them deeply because if those rituals are not practiced for that reason, what other reason can it be? This is really something to think about. more on Rinpoche: tsemtulku(dot)com

  • if you need more videos that give more insight into what is going on with your life, neonlama(dot)com has more teachings from Rinpoche. It also gives you an oppotunity to contribute to his organization!!

  • the results of dharma practice should be less anger and revengefullness and the ability to be kind to the people who have hurt us. If it is not that, what else can it be?

  • Madonna is Supreme? Would someone care to explain that? I don't get it.

  • it's really just a joke to keep people awake, but at the same time you can see how your mind reacts when things dont appear the way you want it to be. Who would have been expecting a high lama to talk about madonna? haha...so yah, it is this time that we see how much we project our projections on others. neonlama(dot)com

  • great teaching on guru devotion and clarified the myth that guru devotion is some kind of "slavery" and blind faith without questioning.Forgiving others, developing altruism and to become a better person by taming our defiled mind is "real guru devotion" which is easier to comprehend and accept and to practise.H.E Tsem Tulku's dharma talk is like having a light switched on in a dark room. Incredibly enlightening!Thank you from the heart!

  • We really need to support HE Tsem Rinpoche in getting these videos out!! get more people to watch these videos, and comment on them. This will encourage his assistants to post more!!

  • Just when I am feeling that it's really tough to be patient with people who are not exactly my favourite characters, to put up with their idiosyncracies and to be humble and put aside my big fat ego, Rinpoche said that it's going to be harder if we don't. That's a wake up call. To progress spiritually, there is really not other way.

  • the more you feel dislike to people, no matter the reason, the more it shows how strong your ego is. Since Buddhist practice is to counter the ego, why not face people you dislike and force yourself to like them, either genuinely? It may be hard, but try to by seeing their good qualities instead of their bad ones and focus on that alone.

  • Wow you are amazing. As always, I love the way you speak. I know you dun care, but anyway, it is totally hot. I am sorry you had a bad time in America. I would like to meet you someday and we can make jokes and stuff. It is very hard to love people you think have hurt you. For me. I am not really sure if some people I have met are real or fake and maybe I just feel sorry for myself, but anyway I think your teaching is always fab.

    l.u.b terri

  • come to Malaysia then!! You'd fit right in :P

  • Hello,

Can someone tell me if Tsem Tulku speaks french?

I'll like to invite him over to our center...

    Thanks

  • I have watched several videos of your dharma talks now, you are touching me more and more - and you are light! and hilarious! I think a trip to KL will be planned soon!

Will you ever come to Germany?

  • well done but i post at 5.19 i need to see the rest like now you can find nirvana very easy in the states you can buy a hand gun at a pawn shop very easy.

  • Thank you Tsem Tulku for this important message. This motivated me to start doing something that I have been avoiding for a long time - forgiving those who have hurt me and serving them. This act is liberating. Thank you for broadcasting your teachings.

  • omg, hahahahah i love rinpoche!! he's soo funny! Especially how the dharmaroo?( I don't know how to spell that) kept breaking! hahahahahahahaha hilarious, his facial expressions. But, I love his profound teachings, and his humor.

    Namo Amitabhaya!!

  • its spelled as Damaru.

  • Thank you.

May all beings be well and happy.

  • A true guru (yes) will tell you to listen to your own inner guru. GREAT ADVICE.

  • exactly. I still find it funny that there are still people who think that HE TTR is not Buddhist when to them being buddhist is being nice and meditating. Such a teacher is rare and hard to find indeed and if you ever get the chance to know him, dont let him go.

  • One of a kind,Great!!!

  • I laugh, but it hurts to know how far we have to go. A trully great teacher..

  • Thank-you Rinopche.

  • Hello, Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, thanks for answering to my last comment :) Do you have any teachings regarding mudras?? Greetings!

  • This was a lovely and insightful video. Thank you for posting it. Growing up in a christian family, when I heard that Jesus spoke of 'loving your enemies', I understood there had to be a practice to lead one to this understanding. Not finding the active practice in the church, I was drawn to Tibetan buddhism. This video completes a circle for me. Thank you.

  • glad that you found what touches you the most =) for many it is a very elusive journey. Thinking about others and loving others is not something that is easy to do, which is why we need a lot of inspiration.

  • Surprising, beautiful, fun and much food for thought. Or transformation!

  • Comedy is a wonderful teacher
