I think every fighter should work on their defense just as much as offense. However you see so many fighters who go in for the knockout and willing to eat alot of leather in the process. Mayweather focuses alot on defense and makes even hard hitting and quick boxers miss....I think that's what really seperates floyd from the rest of the pack is his defense.

Floyd could have been my favourite fighter but i just can't get my self to like him as he have such a terrible personality. I grew up cheering for the good guys and thats the way im going to stay. Pacquio is use to fighting brawlers throughout his career. They stand in front of him or charge him. No one came close to the skills of a Mayweather. Manny will find himself in a totally different fight. Floyd, besides the best defense in the game period keeps a distance and then pin points his shots. Also his counterpunch is split second. I did not hear that but would agree Arum offered him the money to take the test. I just seen a documentry this weekend when Manny and his stregnth coach, etc stated when Manny lost to Morales, he blamed it on the test the day of the fight. I think every fighter should work on their defense just as much as offense. However you see so many fighters who go in for the knockout and willing to eat alot of leather in the process. Mayweather focuses alot on defense and makes even hard hitting and quick boxers miss....I think that's what really seperates floyd from the rest of the pack is his defense.

I'm a boxer and would love to have floyd's defence, its' like Pernell Whitaker's. Accept, Whitaker fought the best of his time: DLH, Trinidad, and JCC. It still doesn't justify PBF always handpicking many of his opponents. He hasnt fought anybody at light welter and welterweight. Shane mosley and miguel cotto's oppostion has been so much better that having PBF ahead of the them in the pound for pound list is bad for boxing.He came back and fought the lightweight champion of the world.

Everybody hand picks their opponents. Even Pernell Whitaker hand picked his opponents. That never changes when you make it to the top.

Mayweather is not boring. if you understand the game of boxing you would find it really amazing wat he does. Thats the problem with most americans, all they wanna see is people getting hurt but dont care about defence or skills. Thats why UFC is as big as it is, well in the US. Boxing is a worldwide respected sport and is here to stay.
