This is fucking horrible. What an absolute insult to everyone who spends money on this. The only thing the producers did was get the media hyped up.
I'm not even talking about the fact that it's not scary. I've seen plenty of horror movies I feel are good, but honestly don't scare me (NOES, Hellraiser, Halloween, The Shining, The Exorcist, ...).
No, this is just outright bad. There is nothing scary or nothing entertaining about watching this horrible garbage.

I for one thought it was one of the scariest movies I've seen and I don't need comments from the peanut gallery to tell me otherwise. Granted the sequels weren't up to par, but I still enjoyed them for what they were worth. If you truly think PA is scary, don't be afraid to say it. Apparently 90% of Youtube is afraid to do so.
This is not scary, but that in itself is not so bad. I can only remember a couple of horror movies that really scared me (Ringu, Ju-On, probably a few others) when I was still a kid. A horror movie doesn't have to scare you shitless to be good (just think of The Shining).

@SSTTEEAALLTTHH "Paranormal" isn't just replete with loud noises. And yes, it does have an intense build-up. Throughout, I was on the very edge of my seat. From the scene where Katie talks about her childhood to the last scene, it's just one intense build-up.

The only parts of these movies that I find a little creepy is when the demon is just making noise. Just hearing it walk around in the house at night, flicking lighs on and off again. When it starts throwing people around and shit, that's when it just gets stupid for me.

Every 10 seconds I would wake everybody up if I heard normal house creaks I'd say oh my god wtf was that!? THEY WERE JUST LIKE WILL U GO TO SLEEP! I stayed up till 5am didnt sleep at all, it lasted for about a week!

Everyone was telling me this is the scariest movie ever and blah blah so I decided to watch it. From the first minute I was waiting to see something scary. I thought the end was going to be scary. And I waited and waited and waited, and the movie ended, and I was still waiting. LOL. And I'm a girl.

Had this movie in my download folder a while, when opened i thought it was a real documentary, the door made me "WTF" hard. But when the witch board did it's trick i realized it was just a movie and it pretty much lost me. The plot is weird also, not what any guy would do when this shit would happen.

this movie sucked so badly... it wasn't scary, it wasn't entertaing, infact id rather watch ghost adventures then this!! that's how bad this horrible excuse for a movie was!!!
Not scary because shit like this never happens. Movies like the strangers, wolf creek, silence of the lambs are more scarier because its about REAL people not invisible ghosts. We all know ghosts are made up, but REAL BAD people are not.

If you're into the paranormal, I read a great book called "Spellbound". It was awesome. For me, it was better than Twilight. Here's a brief synopsis: Girl named Annabelle is new in town and draws attention for all the wrong reasons. A magnet for accidents, her school science experiment goes bad when she opens a portal to the afterlife and she learns that life beyond death can be rife with a host of hidden dangers.
I just saw this movie and it wasn't the "so scary" thing I expected. Plus Katie is such an ass because Micha was for her all the time and she was acting to him like a bitch.

Had this movie in my download folder a while, when opened i thought it was a real documentary, the door made me "WTF" hard. But when the witch board did it's trick i realized it was just a movie and it pretty much lost me. The plot is weird also, not what any guy would do when this shit would happen.
