That first round of music is a rip off of she bop by cyndy lauper! LOL!!! Beautiful music though! Way the hell better then the castlevania commodore 64 music.
Ah... the good old c-64... and this game was awesome as much as it was difficult. This guy must have played it over and over to get that good. It´s probably one of the toughest games on the c-64 actually. I had this a long time ago btw. We played so often that the tune got stuck in our heads.. heh! That mix is so unique that nes still got nothing on c-64! =)
Another one of those impressive Commodore 64 games that seemed to steal so much of my time. Unbelievable graphics and gameplay for its day. No doubt, the 64 was a truly groundbreaking system.
these old school games are so much better-better gameplay...so much better, I can watch a 5 minute video of someone else playing...couldn't do that with a modenr games like Time Splitters....great tune, as well!

OMG back then, only 2 people was enough to program a game! ^^
I remember playing this on the amstrad cpc 464...

The awesomest. The tombstones were the best weapon. Frickin WIPED EVERYTHING!!!
My bro and I could never pass the 2nd level. Damn it's so weird to see this for the first time ever. That game was so hard.
The comp also started lagging and having graphical problems when we hit nearer the end of the 2nd lvl. Maybe playing too long??

@thesix107 I think the game was on the cutting edge of what the c64 was capable of.

Werwolfwer 1 year ago
@Werwolfwer a great game... doesnt matter it is shortter thant the original
almejitico 1 year ago
@almejitico It never mattered to me. I couldn't get far enough to notice it being shorter than the arcade.
And yes, the dagger rocked. The fire sucked.
slugnbozo 1 year ago
@slugnbozo i took me almost a year to finish it when i was a child.
Then I found ghouls and ghost and that was heaven. It was almost identical to the arcade
almejitico 1 year ago
@almejitico I had Ghouls N Ghosts for the Master System. The best 8 bit version there was!

I hate GnG, the crappy controls ruin the game, very dodgy, if they fixed the controls the game could actually be pretty good.
