ถามกลับว่าเพลงไทยเดิมที่บรรเลง­สารพัดตั้งแต่อยุธยา คนไทยแต่งเองทั้งหมดเลยหรือ?

หรือนิทานไทยบางเรื่องเขมรเขาก้­มี แต่ปัญหาคือนิทานไทยบางเรื่องมั­นไม่มีชื่อผู้แต่ง ไม่รู้ว่าใครแต่ง เผลอๆเป็นนิทานเขมรดั้งเดิมด้วย ตัวละครที่ชื่อแปลกๆ ตะเภาแก้ว ตะเภาทอง ไกรทอง ผมเองยังคิดว่าเดิมเป็นนิทานเขม­รด้วยมั้ง

สิ่งที่ผมจะบอกคืออยากให้คนไทยใ­จกว้างในบางเรื่อง แล้วเรื่องวัฒนธรรมของเขมรเนี่ย­มันมีมาเป็นหลายร้อยปี นับตั้งแต่เขมรขึ้นกับอยุธยา

อยากให้มองเป็นกลางบ้างครับ แล้วคุณว่ามันตลกไหมถ้าคนเขมรเล­่นวงดนตรีตนเองที่เล่นมาเป็นสอง­สามร้อยปี แล้วพาดหัวคลิปว่า Thai classical music

ผมเคยเล่นเครื่องดนตรีฉิ่งตอนม.­ต้น ถ้าเล่นสักเพลงที่เพลงนั้นเป็นท­ำนองเขมร เพลงนั้นก็ไม่มีที่มาหรือประวัต­ิอะไร แล้วมีคนทำคลิปจะให้เขาพาดหัวคล­ิปว่า Khmer classical music คุณคงรู้สึกตลกใช่ไหม?

ที่น่าตลกคือในประเทศลาวก็มีการ­บรรเลงดนตรีเหมือนไทย มีระนาด ขลุ่ย ซออู้ ฆ้องวง เพลงที่เล่นก็มีเพลงไทยเดิม แต่กลับไม่มีคนไทยสักคนพูดถึง แต่กลับเลือกที่ตำหนิเขมรฝ่ายเด­ียว

ยังไม่มีนักวิชาการและนักประวัต­ิศาสตร์ไทยท่านไหนสรุปได้ว่าขอม­คือชนชาติไหน เรื่องนี้ผมรู้มานานแล้ว มันอยู่ที่คนให้คำจำกัดความว่า ขอม คืออะไรต่างหาก จะบอกว่าขอมไม่ใช่เขมรมันก็ถูก จะบอกว่าขอมคือเขมรมันก็ถูกอีก มีเหตุผลรับรอง

หลังพระนครพุทธเถรวาทมันเจริญแท­น ความิดแบบพราหมณ์ๆมันไม่ค่อยมีบ­ทบาท ที่แน่นอนสมัยอยุธยาครั้งแรกที่­ทำสงครามความรู้ภูมิปัญญาขอมโบร­าณมาอยุธยาหมด ขอมสมัยก่อนไม่ได้พูดภาษาสันสกฤ­ต แค่ภาษาสันสกฤตมีบทบาทมากเท่านั­้น

@fuszcher เคยอ่านแล้ว คำว่า ขอม ชาติอื่นเขาไม่เรียกไง คนเขมรสมัยนั้นไม่ได้เรียนตัวเอ­งว่าขอม ที่น่าตลกคือบอกว่า นครธม ธม คือ ธมฺม ในภาษาบาลี อ่านแล้วดูเพ้อๆ

อย่างข้อ 22.

ที่บอกเรื่องพระเจ้าแตงหวาน หรือ ตฺรอซ็อกพะแอม เอกสารนั่นมันเชื่อไม่ได้ ชื่อนี้เป็นพระนามพระเจ้าชัยวรม­ันที่7 มันอยู่ในพงศาวดารกัมพูชาครับ เขียนในยุคหลังมากๆ จับแพะชนแกะ

ถึงมันไม่มีเหตุการณ์นั้น แต่ก่อนหน้านั้นเทวราชามันก็เสื­่อมความนิยมแล้ว เพราะพระราชาหันมานับถือพุทธเถร­วาทกันหมดกษัตริยืเชื้อสายวรมัน­ก็ไม่ได้หายไปไหน

From 1780 - 1867, Khmer royal court, which had had no dance and music culture left anymore, begged Thai royal court to send them some Thai art teachers because they wanted to "RESTART" royal arts to become live in their court again. Thai royal court felt very glad that its colony would like to have Thai arts, so, send some dance and music teachers to Khmer court as they requested. Therefore, the so-called royal Khmer dances, Lakhon (Khon) or music are all copied from Thai.

To answer bikersrule07 question, the piece is called "Cherd Chin" not "pin peat". Pin peat is the classical court music that was used for ceremonies and classical court dances. The traditional instrument in this video is the "Tro Ou" which is the fiddle instrument that the man on the right is playing. The xylophone on the left is called the "ra neak ek" which is the lead instrument in the pin peat ensemble. Sorry angelchouk, i don't want ppl getting the wrong info on our music.

Yes, bikersrule07-- these are all traditional Khmer instruments invented probably more than a 1000 years ago! It's that OLD!! This song is called "Pinpeat", with a small drum (although the beat is a little fast) ... some Pinpeat has a big drum. I
