  • Cowardly europeans

  • Poor cavalry? Are you sure, the Russian had some cossacks right?

  • Bullshit Russia wasn't technologically inferior . Russia lost because it had 4 major powers fighting it in the same time(Britain,France,Ottoman empire,Kingdom of Sardinia) and also at the time Britain and France both had one of the biggest navy's in the world . And plus how were we technologically inferior?Russian soldiers killed 300000 to 375000 soldiers of the allies vs the allies who only killed about 143000.In my opinion the Russian empire kicked ass.

  • @101spetsnaz Russia was hugely behind the allies in terms of technoligcal advancement. They had barley any railroads, the majority of their economy was based on aggriculture, their weapons were inferior and most of their population lived in rural areas.

  • @101spetsnaz British 1st,France 2nd and Ottoman 3th Biggest and Powerful Navy at the time..Ottoman still number 3 until WW1..

  • Losses:

    Russia - 143 000

    Turkey - 175 000

    France - 97 000

    Britain - 22 000

So 143 000 vs 294 000 =) Alliy lost twice as much! Is it victory of allies?

  • @kibabiba russian empire wanted to expand their influence in the ottoman region. but they failed to do so. i my opinon nobody won because russian empire failed to gain more power in the region and allies didn`t managed to defeat russians!

it is also nice to see how imperial russia army stood against 3 major powers and pwned them!

  • @kibabiba If wars were decided with numbers than America won the Vietnam war 22 to 23 times over, but if sense wars are used to achieve intended goals, then America lost the Vietnam war and Russia lost the Crimean war.

  • awesome, but where are the rest ??? cant find the next vids (if they exist)

  • Great vid, but you forgot to mention the Telegraph was first used in the Crimean war, which was crucial in rapdily reporting news from the frontline

  • the trooper IRON MAIDEN

  • Thanks for this, I'm doing a research project on the charge of the light brigade and this provided me with some background

  • @hevsym Glad to have helped :) Subscribe for more videos like this coming soon :)

  • You forgot that the nation of Piedmont-Sardinia was also part of the Allied Force.

  • Austria remained neutral and was not part of the allied forces.

  • @wakeboard30 Austria felt threatened by Russia, and although they did not declare war on the country, they allowed British and French troops free passage while refusing Russian as well as refusing to declare neutrality.

  • Well made. Thanks.

  • ya this war and the American Civil war is what modern warfare came out be be.

with the American Civil war you had Gattling guns and Repeater rifles on a much larger scale towards then end of that war.

good vid though! it's hard to find things on the Crimean war
