My entire family was brought up on the The Shaw Singers. We would sing all of there songs in church and that is my moms favorite group. If you have the song titled "Special Prayer"...please post it...that is a all time favorite....

My mom love the shaw singers .The dr. told my mom she had to stop singing about 15 yrs. ago but she siad if god want her to loose her voice he would take it to this day my mom is still singing strong in the church choir with my two little girls.
Beautiful. Carries you back to the duets of Cleophus Robinson and his sister Josephine James, but even more direct and funky. Were they from Florida? They remind me of the Miami duos, The Consolers and The National Gospel Twins. This unknown duo give me more pleasure than an army of Contemporary Gospel idlers.
