You may not see a lot of difference between the Dems and the Republicans but I see a lot of difference between the Greens - who helped throw the 2000 election to Bush - and the Working Families Party a small party that is working to reinstate fusion voting rather than relishing their role as monkeywrench.

Your referring to Ralph Nader campaign in 2000. Ralph earned the votes he got, and those too afraid to voted for the evil of lessers. Because of this fear, the Green Party did not get the five percent they needed ( which would have institutionalized the party as well as gave them millions in dollars for the next election ).

Gore did not win his home-state of Tennessee; that cost him his election. He could not win his home state?

What's wrong with that picture; he couldn't even win Bill's state, Arkansas. And don't forget, he won! He just didn't have the backbone to fight for his votes. Pathetic.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a candidate that was right the first time, like Cynthia McKinney?

As for the WFP, I don't know much about them, but they seem like a good party. Most alternative parties should unite to fight the corporate dominated two party political oligarchy.

When we see a Green, or Independent, or Working Families Party, or Libertarian, we should unite, for now, and vote for our candidates. Of course, always vote for the best candidate, but if you do happen to party vote, vote alternative.

I guess as a party that never actually wins any offices (partisan one's - there's really no point in a political party touting their memberships election to non-partisan offices) you are for whatever you say you are. Everything wonderful and happy and green.. Don't worry though I'm sure nobody in their right mind will accuse you of having any effect whatsoever on this years Presidential election - you will be treated with the respect your level of public support justifies - you will be ignored.

Actually, uncommitted received over 60%, voting concluded. Uncommitted wins 72%, Cynthia McKinney 16%, and Elaine Brown 12% ( this was of course just for Colorado). Nader never placed in Colorado. The only nominations in preliminary rounds were Kent Mesplay, Elaine Brown, Cynthia McKinney, Kat Swift, Jesse Johnson, and Uncommitted.

Being as two of the ten key values are grassroots democracy and decentralization, I believe Claire is expressing her and the Colorado Greens side of the story as well as promoting local Greens in Colorado.

Communication is very important, and lack of it can lead to misunderstandings. Colorado Greens have much respect and support for the McKinney/Clemente campaign.

We all know that corporate controlled Democrats are not the answer, and a Green vote is the path to true change, true progress.

Two parties and both are the same..would you like a different picture? YES! Now this can't happen simply because our two party system is way to entrenched to let the people have a third running mate much less a fourth or one that could win. Short of a revolution in this current system it just can't happen! Look at 2000 and an election that was stolen by about 3,000 votes and that's how we got GW! Ron Paul had millions of supporters but without the system no media backing. Pathetic, no hope!
