Fantastic tutorial and very helpful. :) I'm curious, how big a file was this when it was finally done? I'd love to try this out myself, but I can't have massive file sizes. ^^; Any tips to help avoid that? Thanks.

@nerdieone1 Use few layers. Work at smaller size, that is 5x6 inches 200 dpi.

I don't get it... If you're using a tablet without an LCD-screen like the cintiq, how can you know excactly where for example her hair is? I'd love to take my digital art to the next level, but I've got no idea wether a bamboo is the right option for me..

Anywayz, great tutorial! Its very informative and incredibly clear and easy to understand. By using it, I was able to make a pretty cool looking Jill Valentine by using my mouse

@RedGothicPrincess Yeha, I am using a Wacom. You can buy them on Ebay or on their site. Bamboo is actually a good tablet for cheap.
