@johneymute Light mixes differently than dyes. Blue and Yellow light do not make green. The yellow pixels in this display aren't really needed, although it's possible they just make the yellows a bit more vivid than green+red light.

@johneymute you need to know a bit more about RGB, which is obtaining colors through mixing light. The thing you say about creating green from blue and yellow works with paint or dyes, like Applest2oApples said.

And I assume you're talking about Pantone or other print stuff when you say "color standard consisting of 6 colors including cyan and magenta". Well, CMYK (and gold and silver for that matter) are ink dots on paper, not light pixels in a screen.
