  • I was perplexed for a bit because I had been counting on these things to be what I wanted. It took some adjusting of my viewpoint, and realizing that the aspects in my goals that I thought were not important were actually the main things that I wanted. I remade the video focusing on those things and I feel a lot more excited about where I want to go now. I like watching the person who is talking about THAT life. I want to live it.

Thanks for posting as always Alkistis!

  • I just did this exercise. I was extremely extremely surprised! I have had the same career goals since I was fifteen and I am 20 now. I have worked hard to slowly get ahead in the very competitive industry I am trying to work in but work has always been a challenge, always a hassle.

After making a few scenario videos as per this exercise, I was surprised. When I listened to myself excitedly talk about the achievements that I thought I always wanted, I didn't like that person. She was very boring

  • You know what, that makes a lot of sense. Say it as if it has aready happened. I think that is very positive in putting you in the right direction.

  • Thank you so much for these suggestions. I will definitely try out this exercise today.
