Alice was her name. He name was never mentioned in the book! Go ask Alice is the title is from the lyrics to the Jefferson Airplane song "White Rabbit". Grace Slick wrote the song based on perceived drug references in the classic novel Alice In Wonderland. (On July 14 [page 36 of the 2006 edition], the writer says she "feel[s] like Alice in Wonderland" and "maybe Lewis G. Caroll [sic] was on drugs too.")

I loved your remake of this. Very accurate (: There's one thing that I would like to correct, but please don't think I'm trying to be mean, because I'm not. She wasn't found dead in a closet, but the druggies at her school gave her peanuts with acid on them. She then has a bad trip and tried to scratch her face off. She was sent to a mental institution, but she got out and decided not to keep another diary. Her parents found her dead 3 weeks later.

No, she wasn't found dead in her closet, she was put in her closet by force when some one spiked her with acid. Then she went into the mental hospital. Three weeks after leaving the mental hospital her parents found her dead. She OD'ed. They don't know if it was on purpose or accidental though.

Wow, I think you guys did a great job. I have read the book a few times years ago. I have never seen any of the other versions of the movie.  I think the way this short clip was put together was very good. It really got to the point and the music was good too. I didn't realize what happened to her afterwards. That is so sad. It is good she gave back to the world by helping others. Your clip really touched my heart. TY Do more!! :)

I also read the book - about 5 times. I just watched the original tv movie on you tube. You did a good job it even had parts from the book that were not in the tv movie. It was god enough to having you want more. Maybe you can write more, get evreyone together and make more of the movie.

Go ask alice was my Favourite book.

I was never a reader, but i herd so many good comments on how good the book was and how devistating the storie of her life was, so i read the book. it took me about 7 hours to read it. but split up into two days lol
