  • definitely getting an impala once i graduate in the summer, i fucking hate my chrysler sebring.

  • @MagnumPI4 Why is the Sebring so bad? What year do you have?

  • @VanceChristopher24 i have a 2006 but it drives like it is at lest 14 years old. It handles like a school bus, has drum brakes in the back, no esc, anti-lock braking, or traction control. Seriously i have kicked the back end out on that car so many times its not even funny. It was a good cheap car but i want something a little better.

  • @MagnumPI4 oh okay thanks for telling me that i was going to get one for my first car but i was thinkin about getting this

  • @VanceChristopher24 definitely get this, gets about the same mileage, more power, and its much safer.

  • It's really nice :)

  • I bought an '08 Impala with 34K miles on it and I love it.

  • I like these cars. I've been looking at used 2011 LTs. Drove a 2007 SS with the V8 yesterday. That one is scary, in a good way. ;) Sure wish they'd let it go for what I can pay. Such fun cars to drive, LT and SS.

That plastic wood trim stuff is such crap. Really cheapens things. I don't think the SS I drove had that, but all the LTs did. There is worse, drove a 06 Lincoln Zephyr and that thing was just silly on the inside. Worth TDing a used one just to get a laugh.

  • do the 2011 ford explorer

  • I just got one of these for my company car. Everything is the same except the interior is black and mine has 172K miles...but you would never know it...looks and runs excellent! I just got this car yesterday and havent had a chance to see what all the buttons do....glad you posted this, now I have a better idea!

  • My Uncles have this, Well 3 of My Uncles, LOL! Because they USE these as Taxi Cabs!

  • Can you make one about the LTZ

  • Driver San Francisco bought me here.the back does look similar to the Holden Statesman and Caprice.

  • Thank you for the video! Going to look at one in grey today

  • I've got an 06 LS series, Looks just like that actually, granted different color. There's not a whole lot of difference between the LS and LT is there?

  • Chevy surly doesn't make cars like they use to... THATS REALLY SAD!!!

  • i just got this exact car, except white and with a wierd "automatic 3 on the tree" tranny. puts out 220 hp if its in good condition, and chevy isn't lying with that140 on the speedometer! its a great car! the only thing with it is the ECU (computer) can go bad, but thats no big deal.

  • why'd they discontinue the chevy cavi??!! those things are reliable

  • @crazylilman7 i know right

  • Iv heard impalas start to have oil leaks around 100k is that true?

  • @bmwmsport11 Nope, I have one that has 123,214 Miles on it and no oil leaks at all

  • lets see how it smells.. and how it looks compared to a pb&j sandwich... and how the stereo sounds over youtube...

  • Nice sounding car ? Ar kidding me ? Its 3,5 liter engine its supposed to howl and it just does nothing. Honda Civic 1.3l sounds even better.. .

  • @saitekLT japanese stuff are cool :P

  • i got a 07, LTZ

  • '

    no thank,,,

    i dont like this car

  • how many miles do these bad boys get planning on getiing one in 28 days

  • @ADOLFOFX3805 i get 28-29 mpg at 65 mph in mine.

  • the engine on the 2006-present Chevrolet Impala

    3.6 L LFX V6

    3.9 L LZ9 or LZG V6

    5.3 L LS4 V8

  • the transmission on the 2006-present Chevrolet Impala

    Transmission

    4-speed 4T65E automatic

    4-speed 4T65E-HD automatic

    6-speed 6T70 automatic

  • Come see Kyle at John Thornton Chevrolet in Lithia Springs, GA for both new and used vehicle sales! We have a great selection and are the biggest Corvette dealer in Atlanta!

  • Can you please review 2012 Chevrolet Impala LTZ

  • Put some bling blings on it deeeererrerer

  • @kirby242007 fuck bling bling ....bling bling is for rappers and rappers suck

  • @JFguitar22 Yes they do

  • @RandyG2504 yes he does

  • I totally dig Impalas, always have, very clean/traditional styling and great ride. And RE: Is3100sfi's comment, although I agree with most of it, making blanket statements about anyone, including both of those is kind of ignorant.

  • Nice car

  • thats one big trunk.

  • Just chillin in the back seat. lol

  • do you have a remote start key. locked hold the button down

  • Sure is a lot of white trash commenting on this video.

  • Best car in the world fuck all others

  • thank you for a little hip hop

  • i love my lt.2 not plane like this one, and it came with gas in it lol.

  • I got the SS the only version of the impala that im willing to drive.....The other impalas are okay but.....seems like everybody has em....the ss is rare

  • Hey do you have a Test Drive video of this car.?

  • Another storage compartment is found under the rear passenger seats. there's a tab where the upper and lower connects that can be pulled and open comes more storage! also, when folding the rear seats down, they will lie flat even with items in the storage compartment. Not sure how many impala owners/sellers know this, my salesperson sure didn't but it is an awesome feature

  • If any one knows the 1996-1999 Oldsmobile 88 or LSS, It is similar to the Impala. The specs are quite the same, and I think if Oldsmobile was still in business The 88 would've been the brother or sister of the Impala. If you know what I mean.

  • @lovelylesly1 2006-2011 Impala's are all the same. No difference.

  • The back seat looks so small for a large car. Is it that way or does it just look like it?

  • @elviscash56 No they're not small.

  • And to think that the Impala was the best selling car in America. Ohh but how long ago that was. Chevy just needs a major update on this. It needs the Malibu's 6 speed, the Camaro's soon to be 323 hp 3.6l v6, a better looking exterior and interior like the Malibu will have. But It needs to retain its good interior space and dimensions. ect, ect.

  • @Motorfordtoyota Sounds like an Impala LTZ or SS, oh wait GM no longer makes SS's.

  • my grandparents got one and i drove it a few times. its a great car but to me feels kinda sluggish because i like quick cars but its big and has great rear leg room

  • Dude you freakin rock with ALL of your videos.! I'm probably getting one of these this summer.!

  • haha daewoo

  • Driver's Ed ....lol

  • Great review, I based my final choice of a rental car for a road trip on this review, thanks for this!

  • i have a 2008 impala as well tho mine is a LT like this one i am in the process of converting it to SS tho minus the V8

  • I knew someone who had one of these "fine" cars. it was an ABSOLUTE LEMON!

  • Am I the only one that noticed that the fuel is on "E".

  • SS is Better haha fuck a v6

  • these 2006 on up impalas are pretty nice for a newer car. EZ car to live with on a daily basis if your a commuter. about 26 to 28mpg... good sound system too.

  • i am willing to BET, that this was once a rental.

  • @stopscrewingaround11 it has onStar so - no it wasnt a rental since rental cars dont have onstar.

  • the 2006-present Chevrolet Impala is assembled in

    Oshawa, Ontario, Canada

  • Just bought one today...thank - you. Ps our camera does that same thing in the sun with the purple lines.

  • Um the Impala from 06-10 looks great to me. It's a reason why GM hasn't changed the looks yet, because everyone loves them!

  • LT Mean Limited Touring

  • Could you Plz do a 00-05 impala?

  • @ls3100sfi

    thats bc you are BORING.

  • @ls3100sfi A queer or fag? You sound ignorant as fuck

  • Comment removed

  • @ls3100sfi Agreed!

  • Outside - Beautiful! Inside - Hideous..

  • ford focus review???

  • @xoquixxoqafxo thats too bad its a nice looking car. im on a budget so cant afford honda's so maybe a 06-07 fusion anyway thx for info

  • WHERE WERE THE CUPHOLDERS IN THIS VEHICLE ??

  • i need to buy a car and i like the impala can anyone tell me if its a good car someone who owns one

  • @sam45066

Do yourself a favor. Stay far away from this car. Most are rental cars, they still use a dated 4 spd auto, they are huge on the outside but cramped on the inside, they are slow to accelerated bc the pushrod V6 makes only 221 hp and the 4 spd isn't helping either. Back seat is tight, handling is ungainly, and the fit and finish is awful. If you want a full size American sedan, look at the new Taurus otherwise a family sedan like the Honda Accord offers more room, power, & gas mileage

  • @xoquixxoqafxo The build quality of Chevy's is a hell of a lot better than Ford or Honda.

  • @Joseph9536

What fucking fantasy world are you living in? This Impala is JUNK and it was most likely a rental car. Ford is soo much better than Chevy.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo I'm not trying to start anything but what I'm saying is the truth. I compared my Uncle's 2006 Lincoln Town Car to my 2008 Impala and the quality of the Impala was a whole lot better. Yes the Lincoln has a lot more features. But over all the Impala is much better. My Uncle has had to take the Lincoln back to the dealer 5 times in the last 6 months trying to find the electrical problem that causes the whole dash to go out while driving. The vehicle only has 13,000 miles on it.

  • @Joseph9536

the Town Car is an old POS, take a look at the new Fords, The new Taurus or Lincoln MKS, they are just soo much better cars and it represents where ford is going towards in the quality of their vehicles. The Town car is going out of production soon and it represents old Ford.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo how many miles have you put on an impala? Myself and 2 of my friends own former rental cars - wooptie-doo. Just means they are stirpped down more (ie - no ABS, OnStar or side impact air bags)

  • @mustang633NY

I would never own a POS Impala. They are literally the most DATED full size car on the market right now.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo well yeah there are things about them that are quite old, like Hydromatic 4T65E automatic transmission thats been around since the mid 1990s. Comming from a guy that drives 20 to 35 miles to get to work (depends) i value comfort and an ez-to-live-with interior over "style" and high tech crap like Ford SYNC. I like to relax in my Impala for my nearly 1 hour drive home each night...

  • @mustang633NY oh my bad... I forgot to ask you what full sized car do YOU like? not trying to pick on ya, just wondering

  • @mustang633NY

Since you usually need to spend $20,000 on a 1-2 year old Impala, Id say for the same money, I'd rather have a Honda Accord or Ford Fusion, they are just as comfortable, get better gas mileage, handle better, looks better, has better resale value, reliability, and built quality. Sorry, but the Impala is just a pointless and stupid choice for the money for me.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo Well the new fussion is one of the nicest looking cars on the road today, i actually want a fusion hybrid but the fussion is a mid-sized car and the hybrid is expencive. As for 20k for a 1-2 year old impala.... well i paid like 60% of that for mine and it wasnt even 2 years old when i picked it up w/ 30,000 miles.... I was just bord yesterday :-)

  • @mustang633NY

yeah my bad, used Impalas, even 2010 models go for under 20 grand. Tells you something about their resale value... as in its very crappy. The Fusion may be midsize but its feels roomier in cabin space over the Impala. The Impala's back seat is pathetic for a full size car, only thing that makes it full size is the huge trunk. The new Taurus would be my choice if I had to buy a full size sedan.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo humm.. cant argue w/ the tarus, it is a new car as of like 2 years ago vs the impala was redone 5 years ago but it is still based on the same basic design as the W body cars of 12 years ago.

  • @mustang633NY And not to mention that Hydro 4T65E, Is one hellofa reliable transmission.

  • @deltaboy767 yeper.. my co-worker has an impala with 240,000 miles on his impala, never rebuilt his trans as far as i know.

  • @mustang633NY oh hey... you did a review of the impala and you stated how your family had buicks... same basic idea. I do wish the impala's dash was a bit better, like the monte carlo of 06-07.

  • @Joseph9536 uhh NO! sure i like chevys and fords alot, but don't compare them to honda. The reliability and quality of hondas are FAR superior to fords and chevys. I have a 2010 civic, but i also got a 2009 mustang gt. The mustang is my favorite, but the honda just seems more pleasing to drive and you have a feeling that it will never stop or give up on you.

  • @TheiTouchKid

I agree with you 100% dude, I love the new Fords but every time I drive a Honda I always get that sense that will keep going for a very long time. I don't get that in American cars, even tho Ford has really improved the quality of their vehicles. Honestly, Im not a fan of GM still. If I had to choose American I'd buy Ford.

  • I love it I'm gonna buy one for college.

  • Do they have leather seats version of it?

  • @goodson305 yes but in my eyes if you want leather and all the options you could buy a buick which is an all around nicer car for around the same price (used)

  • What's LT ?

  • @goodson305 LS is base model (steel wheels) LT has a compas, dual zone AC/heater, aluminum wheels and LT options include a larger motor, dual exhaust tips and other things. The LTZ model is the top-of-the-line for any chevy car

  • i have one just lke this but its an 08 3.5 its very quick and not at all SLOW i timed my implala on a flat smooth road and got to 60 in 7.2-7.5 sec very strong!!!

  • Hey you mind doing a video of its much better looking brother the Grand prix? I own one and think it would be great if you could add a nice GP to your video collection

  • @TRAINS1975 yea, because it's bigger, that's obvious.

  • @Jakeman2164 that's beacuse when you floor it, you expect a lot because the engine is reving really fast when in fact, it has no more power to give because the 3.5 GM v6 gives 100% of its power at 3700rpms, so when you passed 3700 rpms, you were not getting nothing else.

  • that car had a 3.5 ( 3500cc) engine. That was the smallest of the 3 engines available, a 3.8 ( 3800cc) engine. The 5.3 ( 327 ci) engine is the only engine offered on the SS impala.

  • Yo u should do a test drive im thinking of getting an 09 Impala SS

  • I drive a 2008 Chevy Impala LT with the 3.5 V6, and it is a great car!!!! I have no complaints about the car. It's very reliable, it gets great gas mileage, and it's very roomy both inside and in the trunk. Thanks so much for doing the review on this Impala. Your reviews are great!!!!

  • @impaladave77 i also have driven them the only thing i didnt like was the accelerater is slow to respond from 80KPH to just over 140

  • @poskyflyer That's a strange problem. I've never experienced that with my Impala.

  • @impaladave77 its not really a problem its just a little delay

  • You can also get this car with a bench seat in the front with a column shift.

  • @MultiAustin11 the crown Vic is an AWESOME pick! But it has a 4.6l not 4.7l

  • wat about a 1998 infinti i30 se

  • Thumbs up if he should do an in-depth tour of his personal vehicle .

  • Thanks for sharing! The Impala is a decent car...wonder what the next gen will look like...

  • Please do a Chevrolet Lacetti

  • @saabkyle04 The trunk of that car makes it prefect for vacation and the disposal of dead bodies, (if you're in the mafia, that is).

  • its called an im-pal-a, not an im-paul-a

  • Pretty nice sounding car with the 3.5 V6...but I would go for a 4.7 V8 Ford Crown Vic...

  • I drove this car for drivers education lol.

  • that pedal next to the lever where u pop the hood what is that 4?

  • @spcychckn601 u cant be serious? thats the parking brake

  • @kmart7843

thats 1 weird parking brake then

it funny b/c i have a chevy astro and i been using that as a foot rest =D

thnx kmart7843 i'm going to go learn 2 use it

  • u know if u look at it it kinda looks like a cat

  • quite possibly the most boring car you can buy in America today in my opinion. Are they bad? no...just boring

  • dude Kyle. I gotta give you major props, you do the best job of reviewing cars on YouTube. No one else does quite as good as you, they don't go as in depth with the cars as you. i would like to try to start doing this since my dad is the manager of a ford dealer i could get a lot of cars to do like some new 5.0 mustangs and some new gt500's.

  • Meh, I like the previous generation of the Impala the best. Which is why I drive one.

  • @saabkyle04 yes but the newer one has diff interior and system lights w/e thats why!

  • If anything I think the next Impala should be targeted towards the latest Ford Taurus. A large family car with optional AWD and a sport SS model to compete with the SHO. And make it alot more stylish worthy of carrying the flagship status for Chevrolet.

  • GM is in desperate need of redesigning this car. It just doesn't get anymore bland and outdated than this car.

  • @85ZingoGTR we recently had one for a rental, and i thought the same thing. the seats were EXTREMELY comfortable, but the dash is from a Tahoe and the steering wheel is from the 80's.

  • @85ZingoGTR Keep in mind that some people just want a nice, reliable, straight forward vehicle. This vehicle is targeted more at that market. Simple, straight forward no frills. Honestly I think it's a very nice car and a good example of less is more. If you want something with more of a sporty or update "Look" then try the Malibu.

  • meh, nothing to write home about. it seems to me that it almost has a sortof "long face"

  • great videos man!!! I love Chevy cars =)

  • i stil can t watch it bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh not for

stil an erri occurred please try later

  • will u find a chevy colorado or a gmc canyon 4 door

  • I don't see any Ford Fusions on your page besides the 2010 one , can you please do a 2006-2009 Fusion if you can?

  • bucket seats? bit of a mistake kyle lol

  • thats not right my neon has that much and it is an 03 :D oh well

    lool

  • It's so bad that the new impalas are almost only with V6 engines..Look at the old impala.LT1!What a power, what a sound!Of course there's the SS model...but I think that the V8 engines should be mounted even in basic models.Great video Kyle :)

  • @Brambor97 They stopped making the SS. 09 was the last year.

  • @datboiwes3

    What?!Are they nuts!Jesus Christ!I'm sorry i didn't know that.I'm from Poland.Holy shit...that car is so sweet,why did they stopped making it?

  • @Brambor97 They did not stop making the Impala all together, just the SS trim, the performance version of this car with the V8.

  • @Brambor97 The SS comes with a 5.3 ( 327ci) engine.

  • there so simple yet i like them! same deal with the crown vic... i have something for these kind of vehicles.

  • Bass: -2 lol... Who was that idiot...? Anyway nice car, I always loved that center console. Can you do a tour of that white Focus, next to the Impala? Thanks!

  • stil same message an error occured please try later

  • for an lt its pretty stark inside.... am i right?

  • message an error occured please try later ahhhhhhh its mi favorite

  • Thats my favorite Impala, but 2006+ LTZ or SS with Bose Surround Sound.

5:35-6:00 Jay Sean ft Lil Wayne "Down" cool!!!!! DUDE!!!!!!!!!

  • i like these, but they just seem so...............plain. ( & if you cant tell im a total snob.lol XD)

  • i rented an impala once and there wasn't that much legroom in the back

  • I find the newer electronic power steering assist to be a bit weird. I had to drive my friend's impala out of the sand and it through me off a bit. It didn't have the smooth feel that the hydraulic systems have and it made some disconcerting groaning sounds under heavy load. Plus, my other friend has a Chevy Cobalt with the same type of system and the thing would shut off after 5 minutes and flash the message POWER STEERING on the display. Apparently it's common because there was a recall.

  • do tht scion tc next to it~!!!

  • @shivam220 already did a TC, look it up on the channel!

  • You should do a video on that white ford focus next to the chevy

  • kyle! can you pleeease do a 7th Generation Honda Accord (preferably sedan)?? 2003-2007... thanksss! :D

  • im definetly more of a fan of those old junker car tours, guess i gotta thing for oldies

  • Awesome shape for nearly 84,000 miles, is it a fleet or rental car? Many Impalas, particularly 2006 and up were rental cars at one point.

  • damn these cars "bong" for every little possible thing!

I understand Jeremy Clarkson's frustration with the Cadillace CTS he tested. "Just shut up!!!!"

  • When my family went to Florida for vacation we got one of these....awful car. No lie. Has no power and drove like a tractor.

  • "service tire monitor system" we will see more of these messages as these cars age.

  • I was wondering if you could find either a Saturn L200 or L300, because there's a interesting story about those cars.

  • do a review of a 9C1, or 9C3 POLICE PACKAGE IMPALA,marked 9C1,unmarked 9C3 !!

  • @ 07:35 is that a chrysler logo embed on the glove compartment?

  • @newandused1998 that's the Impala logo (like an African deer inside an oval) you can see them in every Impala.
