  • Thank you, thank you I have been searching for this song for years. Just by luck I typed the song title in and there it was.

  • Thank you. I haven't heard this song since 1968. You made my day! Thanks again.

  • Thank you!! I have been singing this song in my mind for forty years...I can't believe I found it here

  • Thanks for posting I saw the movie way back -have been looking for this song for over 20 years

  • Great, Great song!!!!!! Wayne Arthur

  • this is so cheesy!!! is kitch i don't like it ....but is fun in a sense cause' is over the top anyway

  • "Montage" was the best of Jimmy Webbs' non-hit songs. Beautiful melody, awesome arrangement & perfect voices thanks to John & Tom Bahler.

Although the group was the Bahlers + a few other seasoned singers & studio musicians, the outcome was "Sunshine Pop Perfect"! I'm sure Jimmy Webb

must have had a guiding hand in this session. This was his melodies & pop

style at their best. For more on the super career of the Bahlers, go to "Small Town Pleasures" site. These guys are music masters!

  • There was another version by Picardy that was played on the radio.

  • @66skate --I still have that 45. I loved that song.

  • thank you so much for this post. I've been looking for this ( couldn't remember the artist OR title...I even wrote a member of The Collage ( Mercury Records artist) thinking it was them. Don't ya love the short bit of "Up, Up And Away" at the end? Jimmy Webb has new work out..it's duets..check it out.

  • Been looking for this song for a long time.. Saw this movie at the Boulevard Drive-In in miami...

  • This song brings back the memory of me sitting in the Capitol Theater in Clearwater, Florida with one of my high school loves. Camille and I sat watching How Sweet It Is with James Garner and Debbie Reynolds. The girls in the movie posed in front of the Mona Lisa while this song was playing. I was holding Camille's hand during it all. Ah, to re-live those times again !!!

  • Written by Jimmy Webb for the 1968 movie, 'How Sweet it Is"...

  • Just like another comment, I haven't heard this since it came out in around 1968. Such a beautiful song, thanks so much for posting it!

  • One of a handful of songs I have committed to memory, Thanks!
