@henrysthingamajig I too study wing chun, but im not a master either. You claim this is wing chun because the kicks look familiar? First of all wing chun is like 95% hand motions. And secondly, you claim that the blocking looks like boxing. Then obviously its not wing chun since we have a VERY distinctive blocking technique that is its own. So if they use a lot of kicking and use boxing style blocks, do you honestly think that its wing chun?

@toyhut2 95% hand motions is a chung wai shun concept, yip man's 2nd teacher leung bic had a different point of view wing chun kicks are very different than most system we use them for training purposes but if the opportunity present itself why not use it as for the socalled blocks if you ever wore boxing gloves you would know that doing wc hand " blocks" are not easy so thats why it looks this way but look closer after doing twc you might surprise yourself

good use of centre line symplicity and economy of motion wing chun methods with kickboxing , i think this is where bruce was goin with JKD but there are alot of wingchun roots in JKD it's the basis that truely sets the tone for the systemless system as he spoke great video!!!!

Hi to all, thats me on the video. Of course, I have big boxing gloves on my hands and can not do clear wing chun, trapping and etc. I do hi kicks and round punches a lot, thats my way of fight and of course this is just friendly sparring using principles of wing chun and a lot of moves.

But as you see on the 02sec. and the07sec. I do hi round kick and hit the head, and in the 09sec. I do wing chun low side kick and he fall down! In the 12sec. I do intercepting punch in the head and in the 17sec. I do intercepting side kick in the belly and nockout the guy. 22sec I do low kick and defend from his round punch with my biu sao block. 29sec.I do front kick and stop the guy, and 33sec.I do double biu sao from two punches and kick him with my hi round kick and knockout the other guy.

So, in the real fight you can not do so much flying technicks cause opponent is moving, not standing and waiting to be hit. Its much harder to apply but we train hard and we do alot of stuff in real fight. Let me see your sparr, guys.

first i cant understand what you are saying, second this is not wing chun modified or any other ie vingtsun, wing tsun, ect. this is traditional wing chun from the leung bik family (leung jan) as taught by grand master wm cheung if you dont know this system of wing chun then sit back and enjoy what you see and dont critizide what you dont know if you do then you will see the five stages of combat,chisao app,the high round house you see is for training purposes this is for facing other styles

(five main principals of wing chun: control: distance,ballence,position,eng­agement,and timing. CONSTANTLY.) none of this is represented... AND SURELY NOT CONSTANTLY, so i'm afraid, i have to say no on the wing chun being in this video. ... but they look like they're having a good time.

this is the sport side to twckf we use in and outside lines center and central line thus we stress lots of footwork the high kicks are the kickboxing side remember how can you defend from high kicks if no one ever throws one at you get in the ring with these guys and show em what ja got these guys are for real listen learn a little traditional then take a second look would be the best option all wc systems are very good at what they do kick but

if you cant see the wing chun in these movements then your blind wing chun can adapt in most situation this is a kickboxing situation the interupting moves displayed is wing chun the positioning,ect. all but the high kicks which is kickboxing.

You have a rich imagination. Wing chun sticks to the centerline principle. That is the reason why it's really effective. I haven't seen any of it. The opponent could be taken down easily just by throwing chain punches and kicks on the knees.
