  • @scovanotian32 karma dude, karma.Nasty way to make a living off the death of a sentient being

  • I would rather starve then be skinned alive and be used as some bitches coat, you heartless rednecks

  • They are alive when they take skin out of they ! They shock them then they can't bite ! It does not matter how much food you give them and how much you care !this is not their natural environment !

  • @JulBogdanova they are gassed to death. type 'mp gas box' into youtube. Nobody 'shocks' them to kill them. They are gassed and fall asleep, never to wake up again.

  • @JulBogdanova Type 'mp gas box' into youtube. Nobody 'shocks' them to kill them. They are gassed and fall asleep, never to wake up again. Painless quick death, much more humane that meat slaughter

  • Anyone who thinks the animals are skinned alive are fucking retarded.

Use you head, how could you possibly skin an animal if it was alive?

It would bite the shit out of you. DAH!

  • I work on a mink ranch everyday and all this talk about being abused and eating their own crap? that's soooo wrong we do everything in our power to keep them warm, clean and fed..it's funny to hear people talk about something that they have no friggen clue about. Work on one then come tell about it!

  • @scovanotian32 You're so right. People watch a couple PETA videos and think they are experts on the fur industry. On my farm, I genuinely care about my animals.

  • hey man, What the fuck are you saying? do you have any idea about the conditions of these animals? and have you have seen how they are killed? they are nourished only for their fucking fur, and then they are skinned alive! I don't think that any organism would prefer that rather that the starving!!

  • @BestMukky

The minbreeders want to have the best and largest skins, so they feed them and give then straw to clean the pelts, they also want to pelt them as perfect as possible and my guees is that it is when they are dead (I have pelted app. 10000 skins, and I can't see how this could be accurate and clean if an animal is alive, struggeling peeing, shitting and trying to bite you) then I'd prefer to use 1 gallon petrol and 1 hour to kill 1000 animals than transport and pelt them 1 at a time

  • @ThePianoRalph yeah, just shut up and do the world a favor go kill yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • Man.....those people don't understand what damage releasing those things into the wild does. Song birds, ground dwelling birds, small mammals are no match for mink. There doing more harm than good.

  • Everyones pet cat within a 20 mile radius likely ended up mink food lol.

  • Just wait until we are visited by a superior species, they put all of us in cages, skin us or whatever because we are a lesser being. Then see how you feel about all of this.

  • Great now we have to worry about all the starving minks coming after our animals and our garbage. Not too mention how imbalanced it will make the environment. This will cause many more animals to die than just the minks. They would have been better off just killing all the minks if they hate the fur trade so much. Animal activists are really responsible for the most animal deaths. What morons!

  • people are fucking retarded. would you rather spend your life in this cramped ammonia-ridden cage or be in the wild?

  • @calitoken i'd rather be in a smelly cage and being fed every day thean out in the wild starving to death.

  • I fucking hate these animal activists. They ruin the fur trade industry.

  • They die slowly in the caves too! Sorry.

  • They do realize that by releasing them that they are decimating the native mink population if they don't starve to death first. Nice shot dipwads.

  • its idiot , and stupid to free minks

they have never lived in the wild, and die from hungry

If you free 1000 minks for example, anoter breeder,

    will breed another 1000.

  • these things are pure evil thats why they're not pets and should be used only for fur

btw they will attack or kill anything

    EVIL

  • Yay!!! Go little minks!

  • minks cna be good pets if rasied from babies...thye would get mor emoney raising them as pets--ill be the first to buy one--contact me if there are any for sale...

  • @porpoisefathom Mink can NOT be good pets; I have had experience trying. It was a nice thought though

  • fucking animal activist.leave the minkfarm be

  • Put these people in jail. Guess if I owned that farm I would be in jail for shooting those lawbreakers........

  • @Mont556n you could have shot them

  • LMAO. While viewing this video, an advertisement popped up in the upper right corner, showing chinchilla pelts for sale. XD

  • well an "accident" happened at a mink farm near us and it was the best thing ever $50 a mink $70 if caught alive. ah what a great week

  • stupid animal activists... congrats. always thinking that you're helping a cause, when truth be told you don't have any idea the HELL you are doing.

  • maybe we could could ask the minks, living in a cage until death by electrocution or having a day of freedom to do what they please, wreak havoc if they so desire...give me a break. It is better to live an hour as a free mink than a life as a commodity. period. Good job!

  • YES!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!

  • minks come back to the farm cause they associate it with food, but not because they like living there!

and the way those animals are being killed is appalling! genitally electrocuted or even skinned alive, like in china, not very nice is it? if those animals were kept in much bigger cages and medical attentions was given when needed, and they were killed by injections, then that would be different story.

  • I don't really know the full story, but here's something I can share: when I was a child, I used to work at a small-scale mink farm (just one man ran it). Mink are extremely mean little animals. If people spent the night opening up cages and letting mink out, I bet they got bitten to hell. Another thing to share: I looked at only one page of the comments for this video, but almost everyone commenting - in support and against - sounds like a nut job. Learn to think.

  • If they wanted to put the mink out of its misery then they should have killed them not set them free.

I have just witnessed the devastation these animals can have on a river. they eat everything including all fish, waterfowl. most large invertebrates and large insects. It’s a shame the British countryside will never be the same again.

Well done eco loons you have managed to wreck an eco system.

  • you fucker who think this is mean to the mink are dumb. They have it made on them farms. We give them food, water and scrape their shit for them. So if you dont know what the hell you're talking about shut the fuck up!

  • i am very sorry to see this and imo its so low to attac someone his way of making a living

  • @1patter a living of of taking lives?? that is no decent way to make a living

  • @iliketosnuggle123 ,,,and who are you to dicete what's good or bad fact is that those people who let them lose kill this way more animals than they safe

those minks can't live anymore in the wild so those antie's are the killers in this story not the farmer

  • @iliketosnuggle123 well then i guess you're a vegetarian and live in a cave. you and i should meet up and tour a butchery ;)

  • @peppeworld ew whats wrong with you your so disgusting you probably think thats the funest thing ever. death is nothing to joke about whether it be animals or humans you nasty weirdo! and dont wink at me! >:l

  • @iliketosnuggle123 so im guessing you rejected my offer :(

  • @iliketosnuggle123 Oh please... tell that to your government. Don't be an asshole.

  • thank god these are the good guys this is what i like to see sometimes i wish i could find the ppl who skin these poor animals and skin them

alive and see how they like it

  • Show me what words in quotation marks I should search for in google, so that I can find the papers you talk of.

It's only fair seeing I gave you one of my references.

Sorry but if I were an animal I would choose to be killed quickly & painlessly any day over slowly starving to death in the wild.

  • @Kelly2357

So you would choose to die quickly and painlessly any day? over starving

would you then also choose to live in a small caged box in a shed for your entire life? verses say out in the wild where you had to forage for your self?

I won't appeal to your heart or morality as I think it is in question if you have one at all...

  • @Kelly2357 what are you talking about? These animals are held in small cages their whole life and held agaist their will, if they cannot survive, too bad for them, survival for the fitess

  • @Kelly2357 Yeah, living your whole life 24/7 in a tiny cage made of wire, eating crap and defecating on yourself and others in deafening noise, to be killed so someone can wear your skin as an adornment sure sounds appealing!

  • @Kelly2357 .. they should never have caught any mink in the first place. These mink were probably born in a cage in that facility so they never learned to survive on their own ..

  • @Kelly2357 They don't die quickly, nor painlessly. Watch a video of a mink, being SKINNED ALIVE. THEN tell me you would.

  • @itsAngieRose lol, please post the link/keyword search/any type of proof to this claim of yours... No proof? That's because you made it up in your head.

  • @Kelly2357 "Each year 40 million of animals are skinned...." /watch?v=AIrcI_S0aN8 I research this... I don't make it up.

  • @itsAngieRose You did make it up, as there is no mink being skinned alive. You have just linked the infamous 8 year old STAGED footage of a raccoon dog being skinned alive in China. A raccoon dog IS NOT mink. Sorry, but ONE staged video of ONE raccoon dog being skinned alive 8 years ago proves nothing except what lengths animal rights organisations are prepared to go to to make a buck.

  • @Kelly2357 Also, show me proof they die painlessly.

  • @itsAngieRose google 'Use of carbon dioxide for euthanasia RSPCA'

  • Is this the same farm where 90% of the minks came back by their own accord?

Because they were starting to starve in the wild?

These activist are so stupid and cruel to let them starve to death.

  • Minks on fur farms are domesticated and have very little wild skills.

The minks always come back as they enjoy life in the farms and start to starve in the wild.

Do some research that dose not involve looking on a PETA website.

Google "Washington Fur Farm Raided by ALF" and see for yourself.

  • @Kelly2357 the cruelty is to start a farm like this , chicken also are known to have a shitty life but these farms are the wors, mink are very aggresive animals and when put together in small cages they quick become violent...anyway 2 days of freedom is better than 4 years of suffer and i really wanna se proof that the 90% of the minks returned

  • @marocconit You are so ignorant

  • @Kelly2357

oh yeah bc it's so much better that they live tortured lives and get skinned alive. They don't go back bc they love it so much. they go back bc it's the only place to survive bc HUMANS fucked them up so badly that it's the only way. Wild minks don't need humans. use your brain.

  • "The Attack of the Minks" This would make a solid B horror movie.

  • Fur farming has to stop

  • mink are a mean and vicious animal...i would love to see some video of one of those idiots trying to pick one up and give it a kiss.

  • Animals arent just vicious creatures, some animals do have a "bad temper" moreso than a rabbit or a different species.

But animals have such temperments and reasons for doing such...its usually a defence mechanism, i mean, if animals didnt defend themselves somehow how could they survive?

These minks didnt deserve the horrible treatment of the fur trade, whoever set them free is a true animal lover for being set free is better than living a life in a cage, awaiting a slow, painful death.

  • You are ignorent dued,

  • haha i hope its a joke :p

  • Many people who commented on the CBC story were angry with the activists and claimed that these mink would die slow deaths. (Not that these commentators really cared). Why can't the mink just die quietly by anal electrocution? Many didn't even know that these "farms" operate in BC! Time to look closely at this industry.

  • Anal electrovution is NOT a humane way to die...how do i know? Let me tell you...

    Anal electrocution goes as such:

    1. animal taken from cage, usually by neck, held innapropratley and painfully dangled in the air.

    2.Restrained from biting or moving.

3.Probe is inserted in the anus (this can be painful in itself)

    4. A device is placed into the mouth of the animal, they bite down and they are electrocuted.

Depending on the voltage, the death can be slow, and often has to be repeated.

  • I don't think you caught my sarcasm about dying quietly by anal electrocution. People who criticised the release of the mink claimed that they would die a slow death. I'd rather they have a day or a week of freedom than the horrific death the "farm" had planned for them.

  • yes it was and they let about 20.000 minks out of there cages

  • @bcnewsvideo YES! WOOT WOOT!!

  • was it an animal activist group that let them out?

  • animal liberation front... sorry for being 11 months late...

  • mmmmmm.....mink the other white meat
