Just know i've lived long enough to watch Jordan's career to have never seen him, do a between the legs dunk, or put his elbow in the rim or do a reverse windmill, and when he does these things then you let me know. Now Jordan is a better overall player than Kobe, but when it comes to dunking Kobe has got that. Every dunk Jordan has done Kobe has done, it's just Jordan has the hang time and looked better doin' it.

You are right that MJ did not do some of those dunks that you listed, but me personally I would rather take the many posters Michael did to people, rather then a 360 dunk or a through the leg, or pass to self back board dunk - yes Kobe did make these moves which seem to be his - but the core of him he has almost replicated MJ's game but not duplicated, impossible.

And no Kobe's never dunked from the free throw line the Slam Dunk Contest or a cradle multiple times but these are dunks he can do. Both dunks you mention anyone can do with NBA dunking talent, it won't look as graceful but it can be done. Catching the ball off the backboard and going inbetween your legs, a behind the back, elbow through the rim, reverse windmill....these are dunks Jordan CAN'T do which requires skill

Was this in the slam dunk contest that he won, because if so I don't think ive watched it or too young to remember. @T82486 And BTW, I watch plenty of basketball and to this day Kobe is my favorite basketball player because he is the most complete player in the game today, he can do it all, whatever you ask of him he will accomplish it and his drive to be the best is not matched by any athlete in the league today. But if I had a choice I would take MJ over Kobe anyday.
