On my last tour to iraq i was shot while clearing a bedroom. the bullet hit my mag in my vest and pounced of into my left lung then hit my spine next to my heart. iwas rushed to a field hospital then sent to Walter Reed. the doctor told me that i would not walk again. two months latter i returned to iraq to finish my tour with my unit. i played this song while at Reed and it made me realize that it wasn't my time and not to give up yet.

my battalion was 1/320th FA, and we lost eight during a mid-air blackhawk collision in Mosul, Iraq in November 2003. Of course, our division (the 101st ABN) lost many more, but this one is is personal for me, since it could have been me. So, I hate the anti-war protesters - they take away from their courageous service. WE supported them on 9/11, so why not support them NOW?? I wish the liberals could understand that they are hypocrites...
