The amp on the left uses propriety symbilink cables for in put. It is a balanced analog signal input. The only difference between it and the one on the left is that the one on the left has a built in DSP (digital signal processor). This also creates an additional D/A conversion besides the one on the Head Unit.
You are a douche and have no clue what you are talking about. You do a disservice to the industry, the products you are showing and car audio world over.
This guy is an ass-clown. This is why car audio has so many retards and misinformation. Hope his business fails as hard as these "tutorials" do. I've lost alot of (if not all) respect for expert village as well for posting this idiot.
Both amplifiers are analog...One simply has digital INPUTS.
In a car audio scenario, digital inputs can help to reduce/eliminate issues with noise introduced into the signal path between source and amplifier. They can also carry more channels of audio data without requiring additional analog cabling.
This video doesn't give the viewer any real helpful information unfortunately.
@ibanzil He meant digital is cleaner in a car enviroment cuz rcas can get noise, analog warmer is audiophile bullshit , hence vinyl is superior to cds, audiophile bullshit with no scientific evidence
analog rules!

the signal can be digital or analog. All amplifiers are analog. Bad information...
digital cleaner??? analog warmer?? Bad info. DA conversion happens before the signal is amplified.
