even if you aren't smart enough to realize that 300km/h is fast you should at least be smart enough to see that hes spending all of about what 1 to 2 seconds per gear before having to shift. the only thing this car is missing is a powerglide its got plenty of power. he spends as much or more time on the clutch as he does the gas I would suggest spending some of ur money on a smoother gearbox like maybe a powerglide I dunno amazing car though bud keep up the good work.

Btw, the BMW M10/M12 straight 4 was designed for roadcars in 1961. In 1983 it was used in Formula 1 (with OLD blocks that had been used in roadcars) and produced around 900hp from a 1,5 litre straight 4. 1983 F1 champions.

In 1986 the Benetton-BMW had 1400hp+ in qualifying.

According to Paul Rosche the chief engineer of the BMW M motorsport, their dyno only went to 1400hp and the 1,5 litre turbo 4 developed more than that, so they don't know how much more. But a roadcar engine designed in 1961 with 75hp used the same roadcar block in F1 in 1986 for almost 20 times that power. In F1 the engine has to last a race distance too, which is 2 hours or 300 km (186 miles).

No disrespect to the 2JZ, but the M10 proved its worth in Formula 1.

@TheWizzardFromOS The RB26 is on the same league as the 2JZ but has many differences.Although it's an inline 6 as the 2JZ it is built for higher revving than the Toyota unit.But it has 400cc of displacement less which means less torque and HP. The main issue with the RB26 is that after around 500whp (660 bhp on the Skyline) the stock motor get's into danger.You need aftermarket support after that level.Things get complicated cause of the high revving,which results into more engine wear & stress!

Along with it's great RB26 DETT motor and the super drivetrain of the awd Skyline

it makes the best awd GT vehicle.. Hands down. It beats the rwd Supra on the truck

or circuit which is normal... Powerfull Supras have big traction issues...

The nice thing about is that both Supras and Skylines are Legendary GT cars.

The R34 top the Supra in my mind, but from my standpoint the Supra is much more accessable than the R34 (due to the fact cars here are LHD). @SairousClaou The 2JZ is one of not the most amazing piece of iron ever put in a car. There isn't another engine that uses power so brutally as a 2JZ for better or for worse.

But it's not the only engine to make more than 3 times stock HP :}

850 rwhp on the stock heads and block isn't a record, nor is 1000 rwhp on a stock block.

But if you look at the displacement of the other engines, it's something truly amazing.

@Purepromedia Well..it depends. On a 2JZ motor you can go up to 3.4 Liter with

a stroker kit. The gain of the displacement is from the custom crank/rod that will

effect the travel distance of the piston in the cylinder. You don't have to bore the

cylinder walls for a stroker kit. Most kits have the standard 86mm bore.

The higher the dispacement gain of a stroker kit on a 2jz (3.1, 3.2, 3.4) the more

difficult for the total rotational mass to rev as high as a normal 3.0 L. (8500-9000 rpms)

so you were not off at all with your meaning. But the gain is quite small compare

with a stroker kit. Oversize pistons for a JZ motor is 0.25' and 0.50' maximum.

Jimmy's Supra might not be stroked...but then again it eats the road and makes

the gauges go crazy. Who knows? LOL...
