RIP Bob. No one had the gentle emotion on a Fender vibrola bar like you. This is a testament to your amazing tone and touch. Thank you for 50 years of melody.
@Corporations8MyBaby yes loved this guy for over forty+Jazzmaster they both played them at they are greatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt listen to Los Straight Jackets they are new wave of Ventures good too little more wilder but good never the less
Thats what I was thinking too! Who knows what he was doing. I visited the Hall of Fame a week ago and they have a wall of signatures of all inductees, and he and Bob were on it so at least their acknowledged.
Songs are: Perfidia, 1000 lb.Bee, Besame Mucho, Rap City, The Letter, (can't remember!), Journey to The Stars, Walk Don't Run. My brother's band and I performed many Ventures tunes back in the 60s. Fabulous video - thanks!
Where and when was this filmed?

A band that has left more of a mark in all our hearts than any other.
Yet more subtle, humble and graceful than any other.

No gimmicks. No special effects. No egos. No political message. No lasers. No theatrics. No anything that doesn't matter anyway.
Just talent and a love of music.
Which is the way it should be but very rarely is.
Thanks for posting this performance!
