I'm really into the lag in the vocals (or did you double them?); whatever the case, this song has an intensely hypnotic feel to it. The solo is perfect, and your timing throughout is spot on. Excellent!
Damn Andy... This is the first time I've felt this way about one of your pieces. But I'm really on the fence with it right now.
I love the music, the guitars sound just like the intro to 'Right in two' by Tool (and I guess their other clean parts), which is awesome, and that synth or whatever keyboard instrument you use during the solo and ending is awesome.
But there's something about the vocal track(s) that I don't like. I'm going to keep listening until I can point it out, though.
@BacksideGorilla Okay, I gave it another listen tonight. Liked it a lot better.
I still can't really put my finger on it. I think it's just the pitch you are singing in, or maybe it just needs some reverb, or when you have the two voices going instead of one voice (you do it every so lines) it'd sound better if you harmonized instead of sang the same way. It's one of those, I know. Or maybe a combination. It's not horrible, don't get me wrong. Just the first time I disagreed with your music
Very fine composition and subtle build up (and down). Your voice matches and contains a lot of the right mood for this song. Perfect doubling of the voice there, too.
Andy, this is GREAT! Don't let anybody tell you anything else (that includes yourself).
We don't have that saying over here but i guess THAT is what you people overseas do when life handles you apples, right?
Nice poetry mate. I sure groove on your progression as an artist. I grew up being a listener and fan of music but not a musician, and I still think of myself as such and hope that I never change my mind about that. Listening to this song has me recognizing, however dimly, that I get as much satisfaction out of seeing my friends evolve and freely express themselves as me and the guys try to do once a week. Anyway, I dig the new sound quality, the vocal effects and use of keyboard. Nice one
Very nice, guitars are sweet, great melodies.

So is it called Apples, or Apples and Oranges? Other than me being quite confused, I like it. : )
