you can't see the bottom around you. Polorized glasses are indeed a must, not just for spotting bait fish or your intended quarry, but by taking the glare off the water one can see any potential hazards which may pose a threat to your person. I fish Gulf Coast mostly, but would really like to try out the Pacific surf sometime. Thanks for the great post.
A lot of people not "in the know" look at surf fishing as a waste of time or unfruitful. But, to those of us who do it, it is possibly the most rewarding type of saltwater fishing. You have to work for it and when you "bow up" on a biggie, one doesn't have the conveniece of a boat to help and run down the fish. There are certain dangers though: Stingrays, jellies, bullsharks and scorpionfish can be a threat so protective footwear is a good thing, especially if the water is murky or foamy and
Surfcasting is a blat but it isnt a "survival skill". The gear is HEAVY and unlike freshwater fishing its a skill that takes time. The rods are 12 to 16 feet usually (mine is 13) and noen of the gear is cheap.
seriously important information for anyone that wants to make an effort to journey out away from civilization and fish high wind in hot sun. 2 thumbs up!!
damn tooooooooooo much talkin wheres the fish anyway one can do talking but fishing i dont thing u can do that sorry dude but i like ur hate but theres no fishing no points 4 u so long
I wish you would have had a better microphone or it would of been better to record farther from the surf its very annoying trying to hear the speaker. Please consider these points when making future videos.
