  • Fokker- defying physics since 1917

  • If an Israeli F-15 can fly with one wing, I guess this is possible?

  • Early development of Fly By Wire?

  • HE is a good 'flyer' LOL more like a GOD

  • "Red Bull gives you wingzzzzzzz!!"

  • this is a bug.

BUT I FLEW WITH ALBATROS D5a with only the upper wing 2 days ago = albatros "eindecker" lol?

  • Just think of the speed possible with so less drag.

  • ahhh yes they thought 3 wings would be better than 2 yet the best plane ever made has no wings

  • Wow, I was so close to buying this game! Thank god I saw this video first.

  • hahahahahaha

  • this guy got skillz (end of comment)

  • @calantlor A.I.

  • @Baszkurator wow i don't read the description DUH

i do im just saying A.I Overpower , Human Underpower

  • lolololol, thats just epic.

  • lol i love glitches :D

  • even IF this would have been theoretically possible he is still missing his ailerons, yet he manages to bank just fine. Obvious bug

  • lol pwnage

  • this is a really great game....his diff settings may be all the way down...as the AI can take care of most everything for u....this shouldnt happen i play on ace and any time i lose any part of either wing im doomd and start the death spin ;) good game though truely

  • LOL I noticed that with an albatros I was flying as well, so much for the great physics engine. I wish the mission builder wasnt so difficult as well, the tutorial had me leaving the room from sheer boredom.

Well, its all we got, and the planes look great, so I guess thats something.

  • ow fuck

  • Wonderful Flight?!

  • i think this is a bug,i mean a computer bug of course, anyways it just makes my day,i mean, you wont see an airplane fly with a tinsy-winsy wing area, dont you?5 stars guyz...5 stars(oh an anybody who aint subscribin' .....FOKKER YOU!!!!!

    bye !!! D ( D

  • hahah bug

  • It could work...any volunteers? :)

  • Well you gotta keep in mind that these Fokker Dr.1's had common wing failures due to the higher wing having more lift than the lower one, but with the lower one completely sheared off, He still has some of his upper wing left that's directly above the body. Thats probably what's keeping him up, and with his tail untouched he can still yaw and roll. I guess it was shear luck that saved his entire from engulfing in flames or all of his wings being completely sheared off.

  • The loss of that much lift would cause a crash. This is a bug.

  • Think of it this way. The body of a plane is a person. The leftover wing on the top is a glider. This stimulates also how gliders glide, and with the bottom wing completely gone lift isn't a problem. He still has that crucial center piece of his wing which is keeping him up. Now this may be a bug, but then again it could be this game's awesome physics engine. But my theory is highly unlikely. Yet it could happen.

  • You don't actually believe that drivel do you? ;-) The remaining "wing" is so close to the long axis centre of gravity that the plane in all likelyhood would spin itself into the ground like a lawn dart. In the video in question the aircraft is maintaining altitude and mangaing to execute a controlled turn. Absolutey impossible.

  • Yea I guess your right. I was just explaining my hypothesis.

  • ummm...no :)

i could explain a hypothesis about pigs flying... that does not mean a pig will fly no matter how eloquent my explanation. Go study a book on flight and the first page should make you realise how insane your theory is, no offence intended.

  • Yea i know i get it now im wrong.

  • Ez hatalmas, viszi a nap poénja címet!! :D

    Fly-by-Wire v1.0 :D
